Point Guard
Is there a point guard that is worth getting either in FA or trade which can help our team?

Right now I’m guessing it’s very very likely we get Rondo. God I hope we don’t sign Teague

Yes because of the fact that he is a defensive guard who would lock up on the opposing guards. Patrick Bev is injured alot and need some defensive specialist to guard the likes of curry, Irving and etc...

Any realistic trade package for Oladipo ? Why not a pack like Pat Bev + Lou will to Indiana for Victor and another decent player ?

The front office should scout the Euroleague to see if any decent PG wants to come over.

Re: Point Guard
What about TJ McConnell from Indy? They already have Brogdan, Holiday, Sumner at PG. He could also fit into the Robinson TPE.

I saw someone mention his name in another thread, but we should be all over the Nuggets for Monte Morris. I think he would be a great fit and with the Nuggets roster moves could very well be available.

Not a crazy idea. He's a better playmaker than Beverley, and I've definitely encountering some speculation among Nuggets fans that Monte might be moved. He fits well the Nuggets but if they have high expectations of Campazzo and/or they project RJ Hampton as a point guard, Morris could be expendable. I don't see (yet, anyway) as a bona fide starting PG in the NBA, but I could see him and Beverley splitting court time pretty evenly.

I think the Nuggets would be very remiss if they gave up Monte, but he's a guy I've wanted ever since his college days.
I'd give up all four seconds we got in the Shamet to Kennard upgrade to snag him tbh

I agree it would make poor sense for the Nuggets to up Monte at this point. My guess is they wait at least a half-season if not the full season to gauge the newbies' development curves.
Also, I'm not at all sure that the Clippers would be willing to part with assets the Nuggets would value as much as Monte. Maaaybe a future first.

Re: Point Guard
Dion Waters and Bradley who is no longer available are not PG's in any sense.
TJ McConnell is a good mention, don't know what the willingness is with Indiana, but he's a guy whose lack of shooting can be accommodated with Ibaka on board.
Dellavedova is a bargain basement option for 3rd string PG also, though we're talking about a higher on the totem pole option right now

There May Not Be A Point Guard
Last year, Clippers had no true point guard; I think this saga continues. They will need to once again have their shooting guards, forwards and centers pretend to be a 1. They did bring in Luke Kennard, a shooting guard with passing skills. Players who are capable passers should be their priority.
I did recommend in another post that Clippers should look for a big whose special ability is passing a la Boris Diaw or Lamar Odom, mainly for size defensive purposes. None of the Clipper players on this roster is going to register a 5 AST per game in a season anyway, let alone a double-digit assist game, so the least they can do is be an elite defensive team. Increase steals and turnover rate to compensate for their low assist numbers.
