Kind of stinks for us that he made all NBA, tbh. Low key was hoping he didn't so he'd be less expensive in a few years. Would have helped if we do try to use cap space after Kemba leaves.

$5M/year should go to Theis for setting all those screens for him, freeing him up for easy finishes at the rim and giving him more room for threes.

I wonder how much money actually exchanges hands in terms of the richest players taking the team out to extravagant dinners and stuff. Not millions I'm sure, but, depending on the team culture/togetherness, it's got to be some pretty obscene numbers.

Tatum's new contract is enough to spend $10,000 a night every night for 50 years, and have 15 mil left over. Heck, depending on how he invests it, it might be enough to do that in perpetuity.

Thank you, Tatum.

Nothing else that has happened so far matters compared to him re-signing.

Not even close.
You should watch some Rockets games of the last 2 seasons.
Tucker is slow and old, Harden is a loser/stats padder.

No thanks, our team is fine.

Welp. If you go buy the annualized returns of the S&P 500 since it's inception in 1926, the amount he could spend every single night in perpetuity and never run out of money is closer to $50,000.

That's assuming he got it all up front as a lump sum, which is obviously not reality, so this is just an exercise in pointing out how obscene that kind of wealth is and how we don't even live in the same world as these guys.

I remember this fondly. Bridges (who they traded) would have been perfect for them

 They traded this kid for Bridges too, who was so happy to get drafted by his hometown team. How many lottery picks has Philly missed on this past decade?

He almost died, just kind of unfortunate for him and the SIxers.

I have league pass I do. He’s an expiring contract you can park in the corner to shoot a 3 occasionally or to rough up the game. Grant can easily slide into the starter role and put tucker to the bench. Slide theis into the starting unit to have Thompson come off the bench if u prefer that.

Hardens a loser until he wins then the whole narrative changes and would have already if cp3 didn’t get hurt. You prob said AD wasn’t a winner either a year ago.

Not sure why but JT's other kids don't look too happy about this.
