The timing of this signing tells me that the Charlotte situation has resolved itself one way or the other.

The couchgm guy wants to move Brown from SG to SF because of Brown's playmaking and handle deficiences so I thought the implication was that the SG would thus have better playmaking ability and handle.

currently Jaylen is a stand in the corner and shoot wide open C & S threes and transition scorer only, dependent on others getting him the ball. That's literally what Nesmith and SGs like Redick, Klay, Green excel at too. Typically, the better SGs have that ability but also can initiate the offense and attack defenses off the dribble (Wade, Booker, Kobe, MJ, Beal, Mitchell) unlike Jaylen due to his poor handle. Wait, are homers actually tryin to claim Jaylen doesn't have an atrocious handle that prevents him from doing this? lmao. Is it some slight wanting Jaylen to move to the 3? What a touchy sensitive bunch his defenders are.

I'm not confident Nesmith can do all those extra things but I am confident he can do exactly what Jaylen does in our offense and has the physical profile and athleticism to approximate his defense. So, while my moronic haters like to make it out as if I've said something controversial, it's anything but. That said, I think Nesmith moves without the ball and is a better shooter than Jaylen so he'll be an upgrade in that respect. But I'm not sure he has Jaylen's post up game or transition game nor on the ball defense. But when you lose Hayward you have to plug in players where they can replace that production. I like Smart off the bench. I don't know why suggesting Nesmith, who is an excellent prospect, should start is rustling Jimmies

Brown's handle is bad, I thought you were saying Nesmith's handle and playmaking ability were better is all. Nesmith has absolutely zero ability to get to the rack, zero playmaking ability. And yeah I don't doubt he moves better off the ball than Brown, many guards do.

True because on defense on the playoffs he’s giving up 288 points/48 minutes on sidelines inbounds plays ;)

Fall really is only useful for the NBAs equivalent of a special team. Perhaps he improves to the point where you play him like boban, but that is just about his ceiling

I think he has a shot at being playable. Has to be a threat to score and lateral movement. If we play zone and have him rim protect, my lord.

I think he can’t be worse than Kanter in the PnR. We’ll see. I liked what I saw in the d league. How is he against super nba athletes? No idea.

Welp. Player option in his 5th year. We have the next 4 years to make the Finals at least.

Not even close.
You should watch some Rockets games of the last 2 seasons.
Tucker is slow and old, Harden is a loser/stats padder.

No thanks, our team is fine.

I have league pass I do. He’s an expiring contract you can park in the corner to shoot a 3 occasionally or to rough up the game. Grant can easily slide into the starter role and put tucker to the bench. Slide theis into the starting unit to have Thompson come off the bench if u prefer that.

Hardens a loser until he wins then the whole narrative changes and would have already if cp3 didn’t get hurt. You prob said AD wasn’t a winner either a year ago.

You cannot be serious by talking about winning a championship with Grant Williams or PJ Tucker as your starting PF...

Harden is a loser because he doesn't understand that you have to play as a team to win a championship. Doing it by your own is not the answer. His defense is awful, and there are enough stories about him being an ass in the locker room to stay away from him (something that was said two days ago to the C's..).

We have a better shot at #18 with Tatum/Brown/Smart/Kemba than with PJ Tucker and James Harden.

When you have an mvp and Tatum paired together and kemba who would sacrifice and guys like Thompson, grant and other to do the dirty work yes I’m serious. Elite talent makes up for the shortcomings at other positions. Tatum is elite. Harden is elite. U fill out the roster around them.

Your talking about winning a banner w brown as your number 2 and I can’t be serious....lol pot meet kettle.

Sixers getting the last laugh for not having to give a max extension to Markelle Fultz.

FYI, why so long to find out the terms of TT deal? Let's not get Javale McGee'd again. :)

He won't get the extension. They could max him either way but they won't mess around with their max cap space.

Transactions have to be done in a certain order. If you see the Celtics finalizing TT and Teague contracts then the S&T TPE for Hayward is dead.

This gives hope they are still working on it
