Is he a guy that would be considered close to that salary? I’m thinking no but it would allow us to steal him back.

Not really interested in any of the stop gap bigs out there. Would rather ride with youth and see how it goes.

Spurs already re-signed him.

I'd probably just go with Baynes at this point.

Crap. I guess he would be fine but this season is a write off I think so would rather get youth. Masai has to seriously consider trading Lowry TBH.

Edit: He’s signing for $27MIL over 3 so my idea wouldn’t work anyways

Seems like a huge love affair with Baynes on this Raptors board? I don't see anything positive with Baynes, he's a scrub who played a bit better last year on PHX
On Gerald Henderson vs Derozan:
"Yes. Hendo is quite a bit better than DeMar.
So yes, I do believe he's currently the better player and do project that will continue to be in the future. I would also take Turner over DD."

I was looking at the available FA centres, and noticed Kyle O'Quinn is available. From what I remember he's pretty well-rounded and is a good rebounder and playmaker. Plus I think he's friends with Kyle. Could be an option.

He played well with the Suns. I really think he fits well with the identity of the team. Dude plays hard, can hit the 3 and grab rebounds. What I don't understand is the love affair with Harry Giles. Glad he signed elsewhere. To me he's the scrub.

I guess depending on matchups Baynes and Boucher are Thunder and Lightning. Then Dewan and Ellenson battling.

Baynes/Father BooShay split at the 5.

Suck it.

Still need a veteran 4-5 combo with some muscle. To play ahead of Boucher off the bench.
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

How about Saric? Helps replace some of Serge’s 3pt shooting.

He's restricted on Phoenix. If Sacramento matches on Bogdanovic, Atlanta should make an offer to Saric.

Alright, so Baynes is definitely starting as of now. But the frontcourt still needs work. Losing Gasol hurt the defense and IQ department.

We lost Embiid and Vucevics father.

Wow, they actually had to settle with Baynes, man what happened. This sucks. If this is the front court going into the season.. wow.
