Lots to go around.

Especially despise the "rules for thee not for me" leniency the large market teams enjoy, while Giannis doesn't get the calls he deserves and his team cannot use equal avenues to improve.

Is there a reason they don't match? Not sure why they would be okay just losing an asset for nothing, especially with limited avenues to obtain talent.
Behind the scenes drama that we are jot privy to?

Can they still match and trade him to us? Is DDV/Pat/DJ enough to match the salary?

Think you (they) have to wait a year for BB to be eligible to trade if they were to match

Shroeder, LeFlop, AD, Harell, Gazol.

And we sign Bobby Portis..

Would you sign the max if you were Giannis?

Well I have PTSD and Bucks PTSD. I’m taking this surprising well, mediation helps.

Totally hypothetical- if they didn’t judge free agency as their only analytical response to the max contract, especially when AD and Lebron (can’t) weren’t going to MKE - would you shut up?

So the Bucks go out and get Jrue Holiday, DJ Augustin, Torrey Craig, Bryn Forbes and Bobby Portis. while ridding themselves of Eric Bledsoe and his brutal playoff performances and a few old, slow washed up vets.

While the Lakers sign Wes Matthews?

Why would AD sign back??

I'm very curious about the rules if Sacramento takes Bogdan back. Since Bogdan is the one who signed the contract, my assumption is that all the rules associated with it can be waived if Bogdan agrees. For example, the trade kicker could be waived if Bogdan doesn't want to stay with Sacramento. And the one year no trade clause could also be waived. I think he does have to stay there a half year under NBA rules.

So theoretically BB cold be traded to the Bucks at the trade deadline if BB agrees.
Yes or no. Please don't tell me to drop it, since I just want to understand the rules and whether the player can amend the agreement down the line. And for those who want to end this thread, why are you going to this thread?

Because further discussion probably makes sense on the Bucks news discussion thread. Just condenses the discussion to 1 place.

Sarcasm. Didn't think I needed the green font there. Nevermind...
