Not that it makes too much of a difference but 8 yards when we knew they were running. At least make it a tough kick

I was curious so I went back. We were lined up and set with 23 seconds left (could've been around 30 if we went faster) with a 1st down 3 yards away. Pick up 4-5 yards and you probably have 2nd and goal from the 3 or 4 with 15 seconds. Just inexcusable time management.

This is so true.

Be interesting to see the Packers record when scoring 30+

It was set up by wasting so much time previously, meaning in the back of his mind he always knew he couldn't take a sack there. So was on his back foot the whole time and going through one read.

edit: and that's practically ballgame, should have won it while you could

It was set up by Rodgers once again locking in in Adams. He puts on the Davante blinders and regularly misses open guys.

Surprised that a qbs first read is their best offensive player? You know he can't see the entire field like you can on the TV

Turn the ball over 4 times, and you usually lose.

So Shepherd will be cut tomorrow right? After he was bailed out of his first hiccup, he followed that up by returning to the 12 yard line.

That's where you put someone else back there....Jamaal Williams if nothing else.

I can't believe Rodgers missed Tonyan being wide open on his last pass of regulation. He forces it to Adams too much, similar to Favre to Sharpe.

Well, also factoring into the situation was the amount of time on the clock, necessitating that he doesn't go thru multiple reads & not stay on his back foot there, lest risk a game-ending sack. He has a better chance to make that play if it's the last play of the game or there were more offensive ones after that.

Another game against a good defense where the running game didn't do squat.

Well can we say the WR core cost us a game yet?

Shepard and MVS.

We don't have anyone opposite Adams that can step up when we need a big play. Instead these mixed bag of 4th/5th string guys being lined up to play important roles screw up in big moments.

Is shepard really the best we can do after Erwin? Didn't Erwin replace him last year after we were on pace to have the worst return game in NFL history?

We seriously didn't think to upgrade that unit at all?!? Now that Erwin's out we are back to the same worst return unit in NFL history. We just figured...Hey...if we ever lose Erwin, the guy that cost us a game last year on STs...ya just plug him back in.

MVS is fine as a #4, we seriously can't find a better #2?

The loss sucks, but I'm still in awe of that Rodgers throw to MVS that lead to PI.

I mean, MVS full speed, Rodgers launches it, and literally drops down on his numbers. **** amazing throw. Insane. If MVS could have caught it with his left hand and against his chest that throw would be on a Rodgers all time highlight reel.

I'm blown away by that throw, so ridiculously good.

In the draft leading up to Rodgers' age 36-37 season we went:

1) 3rd string QB
2) 3rd string RB
3) 3rd string TE

At the trade deadline we don't address a single need despite being Super Bowl contenders.

Wonder if a player or two might have helped in a game like yesterday afternoon's...
