Bogdan Bogdanovic signs w/Hawks 4yrs, 72m (Kings Chose To Not Match)

If the Hawks can land Bogdanovic, they’ll have a proven secondary ball-handler who provides even more shooting to a roster that already added Danilo Gallinari, one of the best 3-point shooters in the league. That’s also not to mention Kevin Huerter continuing his growth as a ball-handler. While he didn’t get as many reps as Bogdanovic did with the Kings, there’s reason to believe Huerter can grow into an adequate secondary playmaker as he gets older.

The Bogdanovic signing is also important for the Hawks because it will allow Young to work more off ball, which is something Atlanta has been hoping to see more of in his two seasons, but the Hawks just haven’t had someone on the roster who they can trust in large spurts. Bogdanovic is that player. Working Young off the ball more adds a massive dynamic to an offense that could feature him, Bogdanovic, Gallinari/John Collins, who are all excellent shooters.

Not sure that MIL was all that motivated to re-visit, once it became known that the league office was investigating the situation... ie, just calling more attention to whatever transgressions they'd made.


(Also... different topic, and I'm one to try not to hijack any given thread... but not sure there's actually any animosity there at this stage, but let's say there is for the sake of discussion... there were no bad guys, from where I sit, and no animosity is justified. Sometimes professional priorities don't sync up. It happens. Ressler had full confidence in Bud, until he didn't. Bud had full intention to continue as coach, until he didn't.)

T- minus 47 hours. What? I can multi task with the NFL and the Yogi Bogi 48 hours Kings missing watch! Ok I’m sorry but Schlenk is not only spending all our money, and pretty wisely at that, he’s putting the squeeze on the Lakers, Clippers, Hornets, Pacers, Bulls, Mavs, and a few other teams that wanted Gallo, the Celtics, and now the Kings.

Ok Schlenk was doing his job as the quiet guy. Even going in he fooled us to fit his script of being patient at the start. He came out John McClane or John Rambo... brings a lot of lyrics to mind but one of my favs...
