Imo, only Trae and Collins will get big minutes in virtually every game.

Others will get big minutes in most games, but will get some relatively frequent "load-management" days, too.

Incidentally, also...

- Labissiere is key to going over the cap so that Schlenk can avail himself of the MLE if necessary... as I understand it, we can resign him for up to 120% of his previous salary.

- Skylar is going to end up as a 2-way

- Goodwin's going to end up released (deadline 11/29)

Anyone going to be unhappy bout thier minutes in this senario? Dunn, Heurt, Okongwu?

It’ll be interesting to see how Pierce structures lineups because a backcourt of Young and Bogdanovic is not strong defensively. And if for some reason Gallinari is playing the three, which I wouldn’t advise, it’ll be nearly impossible to stop anyone defensively, but they will score a lot of points.

...depth [sh]ould no longer be an issue for the Hawks, as it has been in Pierce’s two seasons. This is a deep team that can compete with anyone nightly. I’ll be fascinated to see Pierce’s rotations because of how many quality players there would be on the roster.

That’s a good problem to have and should be enough for them to reach the playoffs.

Count me with those who watch BogBog's tape and are persuaded that he's fundamentally better than the stat lines suggest... fwiw.

My guess:
PG: Young, Rondo, Goodwin
SG: Bogdan, Huerter, Dunn, Mays (2way)
SF: Hunter, Reddish, Snell
PF: Collins, Gallinari, Skal
C: Capela, Fernando, Okongwu, Knight (2way)

Who would put Fernando to start over Okongwu?  Wow. Someone that obviously doesn’t watch college ball. Seriously if she didn’t love me she wouldn’t be here all the time. I’m convinced she has a crush. :droop: :droop:

Cam just needs to beat out Bog and Heurter to start... or Hunter. Great problem to have

If he doesn’t I’m disappointed. It is a great problem to have but Cam needs to take it. Also, Okongwu should be ahead of Bruno day 1, comical to start him ahead of Okongwu to me.

We’ll see. I’m worried rookies are all gonna start out way behind with such a short transition time and no summer league to help them adjust.

If Capela goes down, there are teams whose starting 5 will likely make for a very long night down low.
How many minutes a game do you expect him to play? I predict 30mpg max.

Insane depth. 1-12. Solo is an excellent 13th man if he plays like he did for MEM.

No one laughed?

Or, just that everyone is too young to be familiar with the "red-headed stepchild" concept?
