I dont see how it would help if all of us were over in Greece playing basketball and Giannis was analyzing every single detail of what he has said and the actions of the front office.

I feel like I'd at least be a lot happier.

Well, there's a thought. Giannis to the Clippers taking Jrue with him...

Jrue - Kawhi - Giannis defensive lineup would be crazy. Like all-time crazy... :o

Exactly lol - its his job to care, but we're die hards.

Would be easier to just have Kawhi come here after we unload some salary

I'm not going to say he's a good shooter now off a workout video like 76ers fans have done with Simmons the last few years, but in the very least it seems like he's a lot more comfortable transitioning into his shot and that would be very helpful even if his %'s don't improve.

We've been through this with him for a few years now - tantalizing offseason clips of him hitting shot after shot - only for it to disappear when he needs it most.

I'll wait until he's actually hitting them in big games before I think anything's changed.

The problem is he is still starting way too low on his shot - if he keeps doing that in the post in the playoffs expect turnovers and non calls.

I'm not going to put much stock in his shooting form until he can consistently make shots over a chair.

As long as his FT improve I don't worry about his long range. Even with his semi broken form last season he was able to make one 3 per game and he never lacked confidence like in the J.Kidd years. He will never be and he should never try to be a high volume 3p shooter. Look at Embiid...

4-6 3ps and a few midrange shots are enough per game. The wall will never go away because of his shot even if he starts shooting at high thirties percent.

I want clips of him hitting free throw after free throw - I don't think he needs to become a strong 3 point shooter.

Feel like Giannis really needs to show some major IQ and feel adjustments. Kinda tired of hearing about his 3point shot at this point. Hope he developed go to moves that can actually be used in the playoffs. Teams are going to let him shoot 3's until he proves he can hit at a 40%+ rate

As someone who would be very upset if he left now, I would have zero hard feelings if Giannis gave us 5-6 more years and decided to finish his career elsewhere.

Correct. It’s all about the FTs, always has been.

They are not many go to moves when you have 3 great defenders in front of you other than shoot it yourself or passing it up.

Remember when he was breaking out as a Point Forward in the J.Kidd years averaging like a triple double for months?
He is amazing when he is being allowed to drive either way. Great passes (without swag/flair ofc) and smart plays.

He just stuck in front of an elite 3 man wall for two seasons and it got to his head.
This kind of defense is unprecedented and it's the result of a b2b MVP dominant player and the lack of shooting on both his part and most of his teammates.

His shot changed again. But it actually looks more like his natural shot from when he was a rookie. I can get behind this.

Yeah there's less chicken wing. Elbow is more under the ball.

This. Having a low starting point requires too much movement that introduces inconsistencies in shoulder, elbow, hand, finger, etc positioning right before release.

Thought about on the extreme, you could be more consistent in your golf swing if you just started from the top of your backswing.
