I think they get a big. I would love it if they got Andre Roberson

Anthony Davis (not yet signed with LA), will sign here for the Vet Minimum so he can finally play his favorite PF spot next to Ayton.

Moore, Galloway, and Alexander. Take your pick.

If the Suns add anything of significance hopefully it's another playmaker. Pretty thin in that regard especially if Booker or Paul miss any appreciable amount of time.

I think Moore and Galloway are fine with point Book

And letting Baynes and Kelly find better opportunities is the best thing we could do for them too. Without trading for Paul, we would still be stuck as a fringe team and that's no place to earn a contract, especially as a role player. Oubre has a real shot to become a star now, and Baynes will get as much playing time as he can handle

Talk about some upgrades around the margins.

We will miss Baynes and Kelly (and Ricky of course) but this is a much deeper and more talented team across the board than last year.

How about that haul my dudes? :)

Saric is soft and sucked big time early this year.

Clearly Booker wanted Saric and Baynes wanted to get paid.

I can't believe we got Galloway for the min. I mean, I was happy to get Moore on the cheap, but this? We are really rounding into shape.

Remember how good Bridges looked during those pre-bubble warm up games? If that was real, then look out.

I honestly think Baynes refused to play in the bubble with pending free agency. I also think Jones took exception to it and thats why it was KNOWN that he would not be back. Just a gut feeling, no facts to check. I also think they already knew that they were trading Kelly and knew that if he re-injured his surgically repaired knee that his trade value would disappear. Meanwhile Rubio poured gasoline on his value and HE BLEW UP!!! Ricky was a master of the bubble, played like an all-star!!

I really like Baynes, but the fact that he can't be on the floor at the same time as Ayton makes Saric more valuable for us. Paying Baynes so that he can play 15 minutes a game as a backup for Ayton would not have been good management by JJ.

Then, factoring in the age difference and Baynes' injury history and prioritizing Saric over Baynes was a no brainer for the Suns.

Dude the man had Covid, come on. Baynes was a great dude to have around and he meant a lot to lasts year's team that could have cratered early after the Ayton suspension. I wish him nothing but the best in Toronto.

I wish all the guys who are gone well, no issues with anyone from last year's squad. Hell I might be the last person on earth but I still think there's a shot Okobo makes it somewhere. Not saying he'll be great but I could see him in a rotation.

Wow, Adams is a nice tough guy to have on your team, but this guy continues to make bank and he is NOT the guy I would put next to Zion. He needs to develop a 3 pt shot. He could be like a tougher version of Baynes.

I shared this in the CP3 thread, but thought I'd post it here too since it's the most active.

This podcast features 2 OKC podcast guests and their insight and stories on CP3 are super interesting and honestly got me really excited for him. Worth a listen for sure

Apparently Oubre took a jab at Sarver. Kinda disappointing

why is that disappointing? Most Suns fans i know can't stand him and he is not nearly the first ex player to do that

Not sure exactly how much interaction he had with Sarver. Think he's just kinda saying that.

The last line about the Valley jersey is what got me. I actually think he feels betrayed.

Sure, the concern is when either(or both) Booker and CP are out. The team will be much easier to defend if the defense doesn't have to worry about anyone able to consistently able to break down the outside defense and penetrate.

can't blame him, they use him in a promotional video and then don't even let him keep the jersey. I hate Sarver

Well he took ValleyBoyz and made it a thing. Valley and the Suns were never a thing together, he made it that way. Now the dopest jerseys to hit AZ in a loooooooong time come out with The Valley written across the chest and use him for damn near all the promos.....and Sarver rakes in all the cash on it. The gall of not even letting him keep the damn jersey is outrageous. Oubre also said that he found out he was traded by Diallo calling him and telling him to look at Twitter. Im sorry, but to not even have the decency to call your players and tell them, thats inexcusable. James Jones needs to do a hell of a lot better on that, which is funny because he was originally brought in because of his relationship with players and to be the in-between man for McD and the players. Now thats both Rubio and Oubre saying they were traded with no warning or phonecall or no nothing, finding out for themselves just like all of us on Twitter.

For as good as our FO seems to be at putting a roster together, they really need to work on relationship skills. We already know our owner completely lacks those and players are seen as a dollar sign, but once the FO starts getting a bad reputation for treating its players badly, thats when the whole ship sinks.
