Standard rookie contract.

2 guaranteed years with 2 team option years and a qualifying offer for a 5th season.

Officially welcome, Chuma! I hope you have a good "rookie" year so that the board doesn't turn on you in 5 months!

I logged onto Twitter and saw a now-deleted Shams tweet saying "The Orlando" and my naive heart actually fluttered for a second thinking that this pathetic front office actually did something proactive for once and shook this roster up. Of course, it was just a press release saying they singed a player we drafted a year ago.

Good to officially have him on board. I'm still nervous at the fact that the only two moves made by this franchise so far is the two most obvious ones.

Alrighty, something new to watch! I hope he steps right in and makes a difference defensively, and can show some chops on offense as well.

Hoping he brings an edge we’ve sorely been lacking

Maybe to start, but Cliff cut Aminu's role back pretty quick smart at the start of last season. I think he acknowledged how poorly Aminu was playing.

Honestly, can't wait to see what shape he's in. If he's added some muscle tone and tightened up some of that baby fat then I'll be jacked up! LET'S GO CHUMA!

If youre talking about personality, i dont expect it
He seems to have the same humble, team-guy personality as everyone on the team.

Not maybe hes one of those quiet leaders who brings an edge on the court....honestly dont know....but dont see any "Alpha" attitude from him from any of the interviews\clips ive watched

He can play the 3 as an off ball player. Which means you need a 1 or 2 that is an alpha scorer.

Well: I guess this had to happen before 17 Nov. ended, or the Magic would have lost his rights.
Waited till the last minutes I see.

I don't know if any of you follow this guy on twitter, he's funny as hell. But anyways, this video got me excited for Chuma next year.
