Houston got Christian Woods and Boogie. Does that mean PJ could be on the block? :D :D

He can guard wings and forwards. NBA leader in corner 3s. I'd absolutely snap him up.

Caruso (24) | Dennis (24) | Vet Minimum PG
KCP (24) | Wes (24) | THT
LeBron (36) | Kuzma (12) | Kieff
AD (36) | Harrell (12) | Kieff

Kostas. Give him minutes all season and he’ll be beasting it come the post season. I have very high hopes.

You awfully high on Kostas Stan :D :D .. post some videos bro

For now, I don’t want to increase the awareness of his future greatness. When the off-season is over, I’ll post some. :meditate: :meditate: :meditate:

Rounding out the roster:

Right now they have 10 legit rotation players in
KCP - Wes - Lebron - AD - Gasol
Schroeder - Caruso - Kuz - Kieff - Harrell.

That alone is enough to win a title in my opinion, but with only 2 real shot creators in Lebron and Schroeder, they could use a veteran PG. With AD wanting to play the 4 full time i think they would look for a legit 5 as well. Another SF might also be a good idea.

They do have THT, McKinnie and Bell, which could address those needs, and i expect THT will crack the rotation during the season. Not too sure about McKinnie and Bell and i think they might try to upgrade on those two.

There are still solid players out there to be had. I think Shabbaz Napier, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Kyle Korver would be great and we might see Nicholas Batum and Dewayne Dedmon be available as well.

Reggie Jackson has no value so very possible.

Whiteside's got a big head much like Dwight, where he might be looking for more money to prove his worth to himself.. Be a great signing, but looks tough now that we're under a hard CAP scenario.

I thought the Hawks were in ANOTHER tank mode this season but I'm glad that they are not trying to win but freaking Magic, Hornets and even the Knicks are not even trying. Reggie Jackson has a career ave of 13 pts, 12 pts are a reserve, surely he can help a bad team, those sorry ass teams could have offered a 1 yr to prove them selves, same with Whiteside.
Not a few really like Korver for this team, I love his shooting but he wouldn't play at all if he is a bad defender, just like Troy Daniels and Cook. I would rather try Ellington.

Lakers are 10 deep. We don't need more cooks in the kitchen.

We just need training fodder and chemistry

Give the last 2 spots to Kostas and Dudley.

This... Exactly what I was thinking too... Kostas can't leave until we know where Giannis is going, and Dudley is a solid locker room guy who always has his head in the game even if he only plays 2min.

I’d sign Wayne Ellington and Pau Gasol.

PG: LeBron/Schroder/THT
SG: KCP/Caruso/McKinnie
SF: Matthews/Kuzma/Ellington
PF: AD/Morris/
C: Marc/Harrell/Pau

14 man roster. Plus we have x2 two way contracts from the batch of undrafted rookies and Kostas/Cacok.

I agree with this. My idea of Pau and Ellington is perfect. Ellington is a guy who can play if injuries/COVID happens and be fine with a DNP-CD 80% of the time.

Pau is a veteran who would basically serve as a mentor and if called on for a couple games, he can step in and play as Ron Artest did a few years ago.

This is gonna be a condensed Covid-marred season. Ergo, injuries / COVID will cause players to miss a lot more games than usual. Basic knee / shoulder contusions, ankle twists, hamstrings could cause players to miss 3-15 games at a time. Covid could mean upto 25-30 games, when you don't even allow the player to do any basic conditioning exercise before they test negative.

In order to get to the playoffs healthy and well conditioned, rather than injured / tired, I feel we do need some more depth, because of the nature of the season.

- We have one ball distributor outside of a 36 y.o. Lebron, whose not even a true PG.
- The wing rotation over 6'3" is also pretty thin, specially for small ball, with Wes, KCP, Kuz, Mckinnie & Bron
- KCP is the only semi high volume good shooter on the team, and even he's streaky af.
- Gasol's played 41 games on an average over the last 3 seasons. Harrell, AD, Morris and Dud can probably cover for him most of the time, except when we have to see true big Centers like Joker, Embiid and Boogie. AD's not strong enough to guard these guys in the post, as we saw in the Denver series.

THT, Kostas can contribute a little bit I guess, but we still need a few minimums to fill out the roster.

RJ would be awesome and I think Kostas needs a few minutes in the rotation.

At PG i want a slightly bigger player to counterbalance Shroeder's lack of size (even for a PG), to playmake, be totally unselfish, be a good locker room soldier, and not cause waves if his PT is cut or get waived for a buyout improvement. If willing to take an unguaranteed deal, even better. My preference would be Lin, but if RJax is willing to settle for an unguaranteed deal, he'd work as well. I'm passing on Napier cuz he's another midget.

3rd string wing wise it looks like we've committed to Alfonso McKinnie who's basically purely a defensive wing with negligible offensive ability.

If we need another big, Dedmon is the easy choice, but i dunno if he's willing to take a 3rd string role. He can stretch the floor, rebound a bit, and not be an embarssment on D. If not Dedmon my next choice would prolly be Noah, i think he's already on the roster and not yet waived his unguranteed deal, but i like Noah in that he's a heady hungry vet who's willing to do alot of the little things. I know he's okd and broken down, but i like his IQ and size.

I was about to say Hassan Whiteside, but im guessing there's too many red slags about his attitude so i guess i'll stay away, even at the vet min.

Yeah it's dudley and a big. Dudley for what he does off court and a big to help out AD during the regular season.

Even with great chemistry last season, it didn't get in the way of Pelinka making moves so not sure how much he values Dudley. Wouldn't mind a shooter or another wing over Dudley, but either way is fine with me. Another big is a must IMO though

We still need 1 more true center
My long term target harry giles, whose high basketball IQ, elite ball handling and passing skill and great defensive potential could help us a lot, signed with Portland.

Maybe, we can look at Thon maker ?

Last two spots I'd go with Dudley and take a look at Dedmon, Mahhinmi, or the unpopular vote Hassan Whiteside. I know Rob will probably convince Whiteside to join, but I just don't like that guy's attitude.

Forgot about Belinelli as well, he would be a solid get IMO.

I think we will preserve Gasol for the postseason meaning that not only will he be limited to 15-20 mins, he will receive regular breaks as well. We will see the DNP-old again :)

I think we try to convince Whiteside to take the vet.min and redeem himself from this empty stat guy role. If we cannot succeed I'd love to take Len, but I believe we will keep our roster spot free and wait for the waives of useful bigs (like Dedmon). In the RS Harrell and Davis can share these ~30 mins in C.
