I think thats the only way, take Wall but we need unprotected picks or guy like avdija or hachimura if we are not getting those picks. Moving guys like Hill , Ariza, Hortford, Miller are super easy compare with Wall contract

I want to say yes, because there is a good chance his value goes up. the problem is that if he reclaims his value he's playing at an all-star level and we're winning games we don't want to win. Ultimately I'd end up on the no side because it's a no win for us rather he performs well or not. Contract is the same length as Horford's though....

You don’t have to tank, good picks are made all over the lottery and you have a ton of picks if you need to move up in the draft. Continue to build a culture of trying to win while accumulating assets. You can do both.

i would take john wall if appropriately compensated for it, and i'm sure sam presti would too, but i don't think the idea of appropriate compensation on the wizards and thunder sides will be close to one another. especially if they can trade him for RW and not have to give up as much.

For me it really depends on how soon Presti thinks he can flip him. I don't want wall here for more than one year.

He'd have to play really well to be gone in a year

I think I would rather have Wiggins than Wall if all things were equal.

The number 1 pick is over twice as likely to be an all-star as the number 5 pick. The number 5 pick is almost twice as likely to be an all-star as the number 10 pick. I agree you don't have to have a top 5 pick to get a good player, but you're much more likely if you do. This team doesn't need culture as much as it needs good players.

I don't think we have to draft 3 MVPs to build a contender but we need to have at least one player of that caliber with the right supporting cast.

I know we are going to make some trades to maybe reduce the list of players we have, but I think we are going to cut some too, which one do you think would be cut ?

Poirier
Schofield
Leaf
Maybe an Ariza buyout.

I am not sure if everything is official or not. The Hayward trade might just be agreed to in principle.

I heard on down to dunk that Theo was for sure coming over. Maybe Presti knows George Hill is gone soon.
