bummer, I read early on that the Wanamaker signing did not eat into the MLE but now I realize that was not true. The remainder should be enough to sign a GR3 type, I still want another wing for depth. I wonder where Hassan Whiteside will end up and at what salary, he will be taking a major haircut to his $27Mil he made last year.

Pretty sure Wanamaker used part of the MLE, and I'd guess they will use part of the MLE for Mannion to get him a 3 year deal. The DPE, assuming it's given, will be used for the last player.

He played for my local team Zalgiris in EL two years ago. He isnt NBA level player, GR3 is 3 tiers above him. Highlights is the worst thing to evaluate players.

No, but I kind of don’t understand wasting the spot on a guy who’s 28 years old. To me, that dude would need to be added to the roster to make sense. Otherwise why not give that valuable potential position to someone with some better upside.

Seems like a random wing to me. But whatever, No I don’t really care to much.

I don't think an exhibit 10 even "costs a spot". It's basically an audition for the g-league.

If he sucks, its was Kent or Kirk who found him. Myers who made the decision.

If he's good, it was Jerry West no matter the timeframe.

So Warriors don't want to pay luxury taxes for GR3 or Batum even if they're on cheap contracts?

Or have they signed enough players that they really don't need to add more?

I will be highly annoyed if these guys go to other teams and get key minutes.

Who knows what is going on with GR3. Maybe they offered him a cheap contract and he turned them down.

I think part of the idea is to leave some space and room, both in money available, and a roster spot, around the trade deadline.

There may be an attractive piece who’s bought out.

Who knows what is going on with GR3. Maybe they offered him a cheap contract and he turned them down.

They may want to try and fit either into a vet min. Which would mean allowing them to find better deals first, before them excepting a min deal.
