Patton waived. Signing(s) incoming...
Plus, why would I want to go to the NBA? Duke players suck in the pros.

Is that a good idea? He is a big man that could help us.

What about Shabazz Napier. Undersized but can shoot and play make.

To be honest with you, why not... the thing is that we got a few choices below

1. Either resigned reggie Jackson
2. Sign Jeremy Lin
3. Trade for a point guard
4. Sign someone overseas
5. Try to pluck from our G league roster or etc
6. See who is left which could be him.

The thing is why not Isaiah Thomas who is a free agent?

Hey James--a belated welcome to our board. :) This is a solid post. You've been posting ace stuff.

I'm pretty quiet in personnel moves discussions because I'm mostly just a Clippers fan and a basketball fan, and I focus on trying to figure out what's going on inside the organization. The Clippers' Columbo.

Reggie, Jeremy and Isaiah have each made their dent in the NBA. Each has deep flaws, mostly defense and/or turnovers and probably both. Not sure its the right time to sign any of them.

I did catch Isaiah's meteoric rise and then tragic crash and burn--just when he was about to cash in on the big NBA bucks--when his hip gave out. Dude is HUNGRY. Clippers need some HUNGRY. What was wrong last year was they weren't HUNGRY. They thought they were gonna phone it in all the way to the title. Trezz called them out on it in JANUARY.

Thank God we got Ibaka but is he HUNGRY? Senior just got WAY overpaid through age 35. Pat Bev is already overpaid. Kawhi and PG can opt out and still get their money whether its here or elsewhere.

Question to the board--WHO'S HUNGRY?

We need some hungry. Why do you think the Lakers signed Trezz...? Forget the stats, Trezz is still HUNGRY. Watch out.

Hey, do appreciate that warm welcome. I like your insight and etc. It makes it enjoyable and etc. I agree with you that we need people who are hungry and etc. We need people who wants that championship.

I think that our previous roster were not as hungry except for a few players. I think that majority of the roster already felt that we were already penciled in for the chance to play the Lakers and lost focus on the other teams around them.

In addition, we didn't seem like we didn't enjoy each other and uptight. I feel like that we need development and motivation. Maybe the new coaches will help with this, but also it needs to be embraced by our team

Already have Zu, Ibaka, Fondue and probably Oturu to play the five. Patton isn't special.

I'd rather have Jordan Bell

I’m hoping with get Glen Robinson 3 and Nic Batum. Shooting and defense then flip Lou for a two way PG

Don't we have to add an offensive, get-the-ball-moving PG as the next priority at this point?.. almost has to be Jordan McLaughlin, Yogi Ferrell or Napier next if not trading Lou and/or Bev?

On the wing, I'm not against signing Coffey to a full NBA deal at all and then just finding another 2-Way prospect.

Training camp is right around the corner.

I wonder if Pelicans would be interested in trading either Bledsoe or Hill?

I didn’t watch Korver much last season. Is he a total liability now on defense? If not, the clippers should sign him. He could be useful for 10 minutes a game. You never forget how to shoot

I’m hoping a better situation we get him motivated again. It’s either that or maybe RHJ for the possible 4 spot.

Interesting that the only officially announced moves this far have been the trades on the draft night and the waiving of Patton.

With moves needing to be done a certain way to ensure maximum flexibility under the Hard Cap, it makes it seem pretty obvious that the Clippers are working on something else before putting on the hardcap handcuffs.

Just have to wonder what that is....

Also as far as RHJ vs Batum goes, I'd rather keep Motley or give Lamine Diane the slot. But, with the speculation of another incoming move, might be premature to discuss who to give said spot too

Hoping for a Boris Diaw after leaving Charlotte situation? Batum had injuries also though, so not as confident in that one. Diaw was just being fat and lazy.

Apparently close to getting Ky Bowman. Not a bad addition imo

Ran de facto point for GS last year. Solid defender, shake shot, okay passer.

Not a facilitator, but does provide hustle

Bowman signed, but "competing in camp" likely means a non-guaranteed deal??

Most likely, could be an exhibit ten deal but those are typically for rookies.

Pending other moves, as it stands, I have no doubt he makes the roster
