Very solid player caught up in a little bit of turmoil.

No idea why his value has dropped so low. Would have been great on the Rockets sharing time with Cousins.

YES i def wanted hassan on rockets. would have been great w/ cousins as stretch.
and how the hell does no one want this guy except kings?
2019-20 he led league in blocks and 2nd in rebounding. its crazy that has no value.

He’s a troubled dude and everyone in the league knows it

I tend to agree. He's had some incidents, but none that would seem to disqualify him from a somewhat larger MLE deal. Don Nelson used to have a rule that you can have one "knucklehead" on a team, but not two. Not sure if Whtieside qualifies as a knucklehead, per se, but I'd think that the same rule generally would apply to a player who was troubled. I can see why a team wouldn't want to take him on in a multi-year deal. But these team all know more than we do, so I suppose there must be reasons, even if they're not public.

Just from his snapshot story's, he seems to be someone who other people around him leans for everything. He has too many "YES MAN" and no real "Ayo, this is a dumba$$ mistake."

You know how many teams could have used him? The Celtics, the rockets, the Raptors, even the Clippers. For those teams to past on him he needs to get humbled and turn his career around.

It's not that difficult to understand the value drop. NBA centers are now required to shoot 3s. Guys who can shoot 3s get the money, those that can't shoot 3s sign small deals. Simple as that.

He was great in Portland last year. Not a head case. Not a diva. Good guy but Centers don't get what they used to. And he couldn't figure out the pic n roll. Don't trash him. He's just moving on

I'm pretty sure he's been designated as a 1 year only contract guy by all GMs, given his recent history. Some guys need that short leash to keep them honest.

Putting aside the personality issues and the non-shooting, the Kings signed a slow footed big to play with possibly the fastest player in the league in Fox.

This is classic Kings front office and Walton further showing that he doesn’t know what he’s doing.

nobody wants him because he dont do anything but get a block or 2 and put back dunks.. he clogs the paint and cant get out of the way. He useless That why he went to the kings. They are the dumbest organization in the nba. The king could have signed cauley stein. He was on the team and knows it and hes an upgrade over whiteside
