I still see the potential in him to become a backup 5.

I wish him all the best and foremost a better coaching and executive staff for him.

They drafted a slow and tall player, watched him gain some needed muscles and then reacted surprised that he became so very slow.

With the right coach and some tweaks here and there, he will have a decent NBA career.

I saw this posted as "the Leaf that could have been."

We have up a 2027 2nd, so it can only be our own 2027 2nd and not any of the 2nds owed to us from Utah or Miami.

Not sure what to feel. Leaf could've been utilized better. I strongly believe that he should've developed his stretch 4/5 potential more. He could've found more success shooting 3's rather than trying to be strong enough to mix it up with the bigger players. With that said, I hope he'd be able to get minutes with OKC. He still got potential and I wouldn't call him a bust just yet.

On Jalen Lecque. Man, we are loading up on athleticism and guys who can make things happen on their own. Haven't watched too much of him after the draft, but this guy was once a 5-star recruit out of highschool. He was getting the hype for playing like Westbrook.

The guy we picked at #18 when John Collins and OG were still on the board just got dumped by one of the worst teams in the NBA! IF he couldn't get playing time on that team it's see you in Europe or China TJ.

Everyone makes mistakes. Kaminsky was waived. Collins wasn't extended. Move on.

Collins wasn't extended because he wants more money than the Hawks wanted to give him. He's a stud, OG is a stud. TJ is a dud. It didn't take a player personnel expert to see that TJ was a 2nd round pick if that.

I'm not saying it was a good pick. I said it was a mistake. It's just time to put it on the pile of might have beens and worry about what happens now.

Yall basically got TJ Warren so cheap it kinda makes up for the TJ Leaf pick in the end. TJ prob would have gone to PHX in a Warren deal but they prob didn't want his contract.

Raptors should pick him up next time on last name basis alone.

I'm kind of surprised he signed a two way. It seems like he doesn't really want what comes along with being an NBA player.

At this point, he's lucky just to get any offer of any kind in the NBA level.

I think he was a bit unlucky to be drafted by the Pacers, a team that seemingly hates to expand more than the minimal effort required to develop young players, at least these past few seasons

He probably could have had a better career if he had been drafted by another team that's better at player development
