Marquette basketball

Post#1 » by bucksbrewers3 » Thu Nov 26, 2020 3:28 am

It’s Arkansas pine bluff but without Howard, no matter the offensive talent that he was, this Marquette team is just flat out better without him. The ball moves and Marquette is deeper than last year.

50-18 at the half. Idk how many Marquette fans we have here I might be the only one for all I know.

Much better offense this year, ball doesn't get stuck

By far the biggest takeaway I saw in the first 3 min of the game. I loved Howard but he took 1vs 4 almost every game and made horrible decisions. Love the ball movement so far in the first half.

The game seems to come to him at a slower pace. Just seeing the floor and taking what the defense gives. Reminds me of when Ellenson was here.

They finally seem like a team with size too, not boys against men anymore

Through two games

Ball movement pretty good. Bigs can pass which is nice to see. I was really encouraged by guard play in game 1, a bit less so in game two.

Carton specifically looked great at finding folks in game 1. Wasn't sharp in game two

I don't want to overreact but Garcia is going #1 in the draft and is a first ballot hall of famer, obviously.

My account is officially a Theo John fan account

Theo looks much improved from last season and can actually contribute on offense. 2 years out of garcia would be great, not sure if he feels the same

Can we make the foul-and-chase frowned upon during COVID?

It’s going great so far. I wanna see what happens when Wisconsin bogs start hitting threes.

Solid half by the Warriors
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Koby is going to get aggressive finding his shot now, might not be a good thing
