Giannis would love to play with Bogdan and he would be elated to play with both Jrue and Bogdan.

I think everyone for the most part on this board can agree to this. However, I am a little...unsure of how either brother thought that Bogdan was the 3rd piece of the big 3 vs. Jrue. It just sounds...stupid.

Giannis couldn't think that Milwaukee was crazy enough to give up ALL their assets for 2 years of Jrue when he started working on Bogdan 2 months ago.
I believe he was thinking that Bogdan has everything the Bucks lack(Great shooting,PNR,Clutch as ****,IQ), a perfect fit for him and the Bucks, and since they respect each other he could convince him to play with him and the Bucks wouldn't even have to sacrifice almost anything for a Free Agent or a sign and trade.

After 7 years of experience he knows that nobody serious enough wants to play and/or live in Milwaukee in order to sign him as a free agent. Bogdanovic was the best possible choice and we could make it happen only because of Giannis.

At th is point I hope we have Jrue for 2 yrs. He could easily opt out unfortunately

Why is anyone giving time of day to a very obvious Twitter antagonist/troll, especially one with like 1k very non-active followers? What am I missing? She's obsessed with us; don't return the favor.

My god I hate social media. What a disaster.

I feel bad enough posting so much about the team I like. Don't need any second order pathologies cooking my brain.

Hall of Fame post IMO.

Aaron It Out wrote:We didn't follow the standard though. If we had done it properly, things would have been more like this..

"Kings prepared to let Bogdonavich enter Restricted Free Agency"

"Reports from the Bogdonavich camp that he would re-sign if traded to Bucks"

(nothing from Bucks because they literally aren't allowed to say the word Bogdan at this point)

TMZ RUMOR! Giannis called Bogdan to recruit him to Bucks???

(things heat up but Horst deflects everything saying they're working on everything they can do to get Giannis extension done)

Friday at 6:01pm Woj and Shams get a text from the Kings and it's all over Twitter

Friday at 6:30pm Horst holds a press conference where he presents his balls on the podium and nothing else. No questions.

Instead, we got our owner calling it right out for every other owner to hear. LeBron, filling in for Buss, was probably like "what the ****? do you know what kind of hoops I have to jump through to tamper like that? What do we have rules for? Nevermind how I feel about the idea of a team in Milwaukee beating me in the Finals with two European stars. It's already bull he's winning MVPs instead of me" and calls foul.

Is LeBron a dick in this scenario? Kinda, but he has a point too. Lasry will write this off saying he is just inexperienced and next year he'll bring more energy and effort to the league meetings.

Giannis and his brothers had their last practice at Olympiakos' arena and they left this message in the locker room wall.
If they don't arrive tonight in Milwaukee they will be there tommorow morning I presume.

Bucks Reddit doesn't live in reality. In their minds the team and the GM and the Owners can do no wrong and never has done anything wrong. So everything must be the fault of someone else.

They are like a sweet innocent 12 year old, without the burden of 30 years of front office debacles and incompetence.
Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

If you're fine with the double standard this league has set, then by all means, keep enjoying.

Where if ever has there been an instance of a team agreeing to a sign and trade WELL before teams are even allowed to discuss contracts? I agree there's some level of look the other way the league employs, but our version of tampering was us running down the middle of a busy street butt ass naked yelling that we cheated.

I don't think there's a double standard for the situation we've found ourselves in.

Okay, and what about the sources disputing that Lasry was doing any of that? I'm not going to side one way or the other but I'm not going to ignore one side over the other either.

I don't believe I mentioned Lasry. Woj literally tweeted the deal was done. As soon as that happened, we were in hot water.

I think (and hope...) Horst and Giannis already have an agreement that he will sign the extension. But they agreed to wait with the announcement as long as possible so other teams might wait for it before making other decisions.
I don't think Giannis wants to get questions about his future after every game. That's what happens this year if he doesn't sign the extension.
And i don't think Horst makes the Jrue trade if he isn't 100% sure Giannis agrees with the trade and/or he will resign.

And I think they agreed the Bucks will trade him if things don't work out as planned and he's not happy anymore.

In any case, Giannis shouldn't sign the supermax now. Even if he's willing to, he should wait until the summer to sign it. Heat and Raptors keep undermining their own current title chances while they're still hoping to get him by holding out on cap space. The Bucks should prolong this situation for as long as they can.

What if we get romped in the playoffs again and he changes his mind about re-signing? At least with him under contract, if he asks for a trade, we can at least recoup future assets to somewhat rebuild the franchise.

Yea better to get him locked up. Raptors won't be good losing Gasol and Ibaka probably a first round exit, but Miami is still a good team. Dallas still makes the most sense from his perspective if he was to leave.

Dallas is Luka's team. I don't think he wants to go that route at this point of his career. It would be a KD move.

What’s undervalued IMO which he’s stated a hundred times being in Milwaukee is it’s quiet. He also gets treated like a normal guy when he’s out which he loves. You don’t get any of that anywhere else

So does this completley kill the narrative that at the jersey reveal Giannis signs his supermax
