Thanks. This has been fun to mess with.

It gets much, much easier to make a clean rotation if we trade Conley for Love/Porter/Harris.

If we go all in with signing Gobert to a max or supermax contract we should really push all our chips in and send Conley out and get one of those guys. This is the last time we will have a chance to trade for another high paid player. Once Conley is off the books there will be no viable path to trade for a guy making 30+ million unless we bundle multiple players or send out Donny or Gobert. If we want our own mini version of a big 3 it's the only path I see.

That guy went into the 2018 draft looking like he's the next Doug Christie, and then he just disappeared. Was it just injuries?

Don't know why Tucker got more opportunity (marginally) this season only for us to then come to the conclusion that Oni is the better prospect. I agree with the call and think Oni can be an excellent role player but surely he should have been the one getting the minutes last season, the only thing I can think of is if they believed it was better for Oni development to spend more time with the stars and in the gym as opposed to travelling with the team.

Wow was only expecting two way at the most. Good job, kid

Game is smooth, tho a bit slow. His shifty moves makes up for his lack of speed. Reminds me of iso Joe

Hope he won't play HORSE with JC off the bench tho that's bad news

You know what would be sneaky? Trading Rudy & Royce to Indiana for Myles Turner & Victor Oladipo. Jazz would have to believe in Oladipo longer term though.

With Oladipos injury history not so much. And Royces contract is a very friendly contract for who he is and what he brings to the table. I think Utah loses in this trade.

Having said that, Oladipo he was my favorite player in that draft. I love his game and his personality. I imagine Mitchell and Oladipo would hit it off. great 1-2 punch if Oladipo can get back to the player he was.

Myles averages 13/7. It's a step back from Rudy to be sure.

I guess I'm looking at spurts and potential. Yeah I would agree. Utah would be losing two of the steadiest players in the league for an inconsistent prospect in Myles and someone coming from an injury in Dipo

But man if that works out

Personally I think this is a horrific trade. There's a reason why Oladipo has no trade market. The last time he was a good player was two years and several injuries ago. Even at peak impact, he's basically where Rudy is at right now. You're taking significant risk with both his health and the contract situation. Very low risk proposition and the reward doesn't have more potential than what Gobert offers the Jazz.

Turner is very overrated player IMO. People love the idea of him...a shooting big. But in actually, he's a clear negative on offense. He gets almost all of his shots assisted (more than Rudy), no presence at the rim, doesn't get offensive rebounds, and sets terrible screens. And what does he have to show for it? Barely league average efficiency on a heavy amount of open shots. His defense is fine, but also wasn't as good as it was two years ago. There's a reason why the Pacers were better with him on the bench 2 years in a row.

I honestly prefer Royce as an asset. Much cheaper contract and plays a much more valuable position.

I see this trade as extremely high risk, no reward situation for UTA. We wouldn't even be saving money here. Turner and Oladipo, if he resigns, would cost about the same or more as Rudy+Royce. The only way to break even on this trade is if Oladipo resigns and gets pack to peak form. Terrible bet to make IMO.
