If you were Horst, you would offer him a 1-year deal with 4 player options.

Again, I am not Horts, but if I was, one question would remain foreskin in my mind and that is, "What can brown do for you?" I can tell you waht Fedex did for me: severe carpal tunnel in my wrists and a trailer I'm still making payments on. I'd offer Giannis what I wish was offered to me: three squares, daylight hours and a healthy enough salary that I didn't have to choose between pants or a night at Dave and Buster's. Like Donte Ellis, he can have all of it.imo

Yea better to get him locked up. Raptors won't be good losing Gasol and Ibaka probably a first round exit, but Miami is still a good team. Dallas still makes the most sense from his perspective if he was to leave.

Dallas is Luka's team. I don't think he wants to go that route at this point of his career. It would be a KD move.

It would be worse than KD in some ways. KD joined a team that already won a championship and was full of vets that proved they can win the ultimate prize. Giannis would be leaving to go to a worse team that has not won and become the 2nd option to a guy that is younger and less experienced and straight up a significantly worse player.

Cuban said that if he had to choose his wife or Luka, he would choose Luka. That is 200% Luka's team.

Heat and Raptors keep undermining their own current title chances while they're still hoping to get him by holding out on cap space. The Bucks should prolong this situation for as long as they can.

I think him waiting this long has done enough damage to the Heat, Raptors, Mavericks. Seems like they didn't follow a plan where their no 1 priority is to be the best team possible this year, they are making moves with the underlying assumption that they have a chance to sign giannis in 2021, and are keeping space open to do that even if it affects their chances to win a championship this year.

Like if Giannis had signed his extention in the 1st hour of free agency, I bet the Heat would have went after CP3 or Oladipo or another star like that. Same with the Raptors and Mavericks, but to a lesser extent.

From the web:
“According to Fischer, Antetokounmpo had provided Milwaukee with a short-list of wing talent to go after, including Bogdanovic, Bradley Beal, and Victor Oladipo.”

We did not get any of them. So am unsure how Giannis feels.

Thankfully Jrue is substantially better than 2 of those 3 guys, hopefully he’s cool with it lol

If that video told me anything it’s that Giannis is low key and wants to take advantage of the opportunities he has in front of him now. Sounds like a supermax with Milwaukee makes a ton of sense.

I know it sounds odd but someone on Reddit pointed out the “antlers” that Alex has. Either a weird coincidence or a low key sign lol

Someone pointed that out earlier here: it actually looks like Alex is popping the straps of his apron out like you would with suspenders. That or they are doing some low key mind games which knowing these guys, I could see lol

Every time I get a Twitter notification, my heart skips a beat. I check this thread like 10x a day looking for the littlest rumor. It’s crazy how little things like Bam signing his extension can make you so happy.

If the sole purpose of free agency this year was to appease Giannis, we would have either found a way to pay Bogs more and secure the deal or add enough to the Donte/Hill/1st to get Oladipo. No chance of getting Beal although I wonder if our Holiday offer would've come close.

Paying this much for Holiday tells me that beyond appeasing Giannis Horst/Bud believed the number one priority this off season was replacing Bledsoe because poor PG play was the number one reason we lost the playoffs. Did Giannis put Bledsoe up on the chopping block? No idea. We will miss Bled during the regular season though. Wish he could have been a bench guy.

Really, Giannis doesn't seem like the type of guy who would assume that he has a right to play GM or hold a team hostage. There is nothing self-entitled or presumptuous about the greatest Milwaukee Buck of all time: and that's one big reason most of us love him. Could this change in time? Sure, but the core of his soul seemed to have been formed before he arrived to Milwaukee.
