Unless he gets a growth spurt, unlikely to go to the hole that much, where he wouldn't be facing wing defenders but 7-foot rim protectors.

In that case, he has to develop floaters and tear drops because he isn't going to convert going all the way to the restricted area and doing over and under moves on NBA centers and PFs.

He's got floaters already.

OKC got it right. With FA being so over priced, draft picks are so important.

Hope Nico works out, as he is paid pennies if he can contribute.

Mulder is currently on a minimum salary for 2020-21 that is guaranteed for $200,000 if he's on the opening day roster.

Mulder has a non-guaranteed, minimum contract. According to this the other two-way is Dwayne Sutton, undrafted out of Louisville.

He is the idiot that stated this fake news. He updated within a minute on his tweet that Sutton is camp invite to fight for two way.

Interesting that they didn’t sign Nico to a 4 year deal like they did with Smailagic.

He will be a restricted free agent at the end of the 2 way. If he is any good and warriors want to take him for playoffs. They will likely use part of MLE to sign him to a multi year contract like Paschall. Then it would mean they unload JTA or Mulder if they remain on the roster

Probably didn’t want him to take up a roster spot like smiley is doing now.

Right, plus it would also have added to their tax bill. Two-way contracts don't.

They must like him a lot, it includes $4.6M in guaranteed money.

I had hopes the Warriors would get a chance at him. He's perfect for the Griz.

Same. Tillman was my favorite second round pick by far.

Would have been a great smallball center for the Warriors. Reminds me of Draymond in a lot of ways... maybe its that Spartan system. Both born in Michigan too!

I saw an interview with Nico that said teams were talking to him in the 30s and he told them not to draft him because the Warriors gave him a guarantee at 48. That's bold. That he did that and they re-paid him with a 2-way is even more interesting. His reaction to the 2-way was that he was looking forward to earning his NBA contract.

I really like him, hope he can figure out NBA defense.
