I still don't. The rookies will still have to prove themselves in the NBA and the team will need to prove the can develop them into a winner
Which is ok. Even if Luka goes down to give us two top picks in this class, we could use another year (or two) of slowly letting the kids develop before making our big moves.
I agree. I’m still thinking 2023-2024 might be the year we finally see a winning team but who knows if things come together before that
At this point all I care about is finally putting together a core that can become competitive when they've developed...and that's not imminent for us lol. So why worry about putting an end date on things before we actually start seeing the end of that tunnel? If a year from now everything has gone our way and that light starts to peak through, then we can worry about our timeline.
But until we've finished putting together a competitive core, all I care about is adding more talent that could be part of that competitive core or an important piece in trading for someone who'll be part of that core, and developing that talent/trade-bait.

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!
