Marcus Garrett is one of the most respected perimeter defenders in college basketball and Suggs had his way with him. That performance was like "vault to #1" calibur.

Early on, I like Suggs better than Cunningham, who’s overrated to me.

Sorry, what wasn't to like about Cunninghma's first games? Seems like he's showing exactly what you'd want him to.

Suggs was awesome though.

He wasn’t playing anybody.

But don’t get me wrong, he didn’t look bad. And I I’m not even down on him as a prospect. My only “problem” with him is while he should certainly be in the conversation, I don’t think he’s the slam dunk, hands down #1 pick he’s been billed to be.

BJ Boston better take over this game or UK is going to drop one early.

They seem like one of the most talented teams I've seen so far in this early season, but boy do they make a ton of mistakes.

Kentucky had 21 turnovers and shot 0% from three. What a flukey game.

Sarr as good as advertised, offensively. He's going to be putting up monster scoring games this year. Very aggressive player and he'll nail the majority of his free throws when he draws fouls. Strong rebounder, too. He's pretty terrible, defensively, though.

I think I like Clarke slightly better than Boston, in the early going. It's still too early to make the call, though.

Clarke is showing more handling chops, but if "board man gets paid", as Kawhi says, then it's hard to go against Boston, who is pulling in a ton of rebounds while scoring at will near the basket.

I think Clarke is moving the ball really well and Boston looks like a black hole. Also, Clarke seems like a significantly better defender.

He's definitely not generating assists enough, but the offense is dysfunctional to say the least.

Justice Sueing is a bonafide 1st rounder. I would love to have this guy on the Sixers. 6'7" 215 pounds. Extremely good defender. Had to sit out after transferring from Cal but now he's balling for Ohio State.

Random guy I'm keeping an eye on that you might never hear again: Andrew Garcia of UGA.

22 points, went 10 of 11 from FT line. 6'5 and UGA is playing him like a post guy:

He's #4 in this video. I know that might obviously be discouraging in terms of translation to NBA, but here he was at Stony Brook playing a more normal guard role:

Feels like one of those Buzz Williams Marquette guys that make the league. Intriguing to me in the early stages.

Yves Pons is my 2nd round guy to watch this year - monster athlete, wish he were a better rebounder

Will be very disappointed if his middle name isn't "Litigation".

Evan Mobley is awesome. He plays like an oversized wing. This class will be a lot of fun to watch.

Boston has issues in other areas of his game, but the kid can really finish at the rim. Some serious touch.

I can't believe Kentucky is so bad at shooting this year. They're in like a 0-30 drought from three.

Also, if Mintz plays more like this compared to the Richmond game (foul trouble), then he's going to be getting some draft buzz too. Transferred here as a defensive specialist, but might be our most competent "PG" on the roster.
