He had some great moments. Very likable personality. He'll be missed but this is a new chapter so he had to go.

This one hurts. Hope New Orleans treats him well and loves him as much as we did.

“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

Great guy. Hope he makes the playoffs in NO!
My eyes glaze over when reading alternative stat (not advanced stat) narratives that go many paragraphs long. If you can not make your point in 2 paragraphs it may not be a great point.

Teams continue to overpay. You'll get 90%of the production at the MLE

I got tired of Adams but I’m still a believer in the big man in the modern nba. I don’t think many teams will be able to emulate the warriors version of small ball. The key now is that a big has to do more than post up and block shots. If you find one that can defend the paint, switch on the perimeter and can shoot, you draft him and pay him. If not, then sign Nerlens Noel.

Said he did the same with CP3 and Dennis...yet we still get good returns on our trade. I don't know how he does it.

Crazy that they're willing to pay him that much, given his limitations on the offensive end. New Orleans definitely didn't learn from OKC's mistake.
I complained a lot about Adams but I think a lot of my frustration was linked to the gaudy contract OKC signed him to. We paid him like an All-Star center but all we got was solid role player production in return. If he were only making approx. $10 million per year instead of over $25 million, I'd have been content with Adams. Weird how that works.

Re: Steven Adams Appreciation Thread
The worst Draft decision in Thunder's history considering the reports of Thunder's interest in Giannis.
He was a starting quality player, with a great personality, and never backed down from any challenge. Loved his physicality. Couldn't match the production expected from his 2nd contract, unfortunately.
