Cunningham is an odd player type. He's a lot more Luka than a true PG.

In College ball it looks like he plays a big man role and backs down everyone he can. Will that translate to the NBA?

His defense is outstanding. But he doesnt seem to have NBA elite speed. He jumps well and is strong. Really interesting guy. Hopefully Pistons select #1 and can have their choice of guys. Cunningham would be excellent. He's like a PG, a wing and a tweener/big all in one.

Hayes
Cunningham
Bey
Sekou
Grant

IDK Im torn on him while he looks a lil smaller and way less athletic than I thought also the handle looks a little basic but perhaps he's just coasting against these low level teams so far and has another gear.

In this class I'm really liking Jalen Green not sure when the G league starts or how that situation will play out tho.

It seems most people who follow the draft closely are saying this draft is one of the strongest in a long time with multiple very high level prospects

I spent yesterday watching some of the college ball highlights and I think right now my favorite is Suggs.

I'm also early on the Jalen Green train, but I do admit I haven't seen much more than youtube highlight clips for most of these guys. Jalen Green seems like someone who has a lot of upside.

Since he skipped college to play in the G-League I'm wondering if the G-League is even operating as normal this season with COVID. Not really sure how that all will turn out.

Maybe Im over looking Suggs but with all these wings in this draft I feel we really need to get one of them.

Jalen Green
Jalen Johnson
Zhaiare Smith
BJ Boston
Cade
You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.

We need to see Hayes in action but I was kinda thinking throw him at the 2 then draft a guy like Suggs or Cade at the 1 to have alot of playmaking in the backcourt.

It's so early though and we'll have to wait and see

Cade seems to have been a bit overhyped. People were making him sound like the next big thing and I'm not really seeing that type of star with him.

How can you possibly make that assessment already? He played 2 scrimmages essentially against lower level teams, after a COVID impacted offseason mind you. It's going to take a much larger sample size to properly judge these guys.

I don't recall Cunningham getting the "generational" tag like Emoni Bates for instance, who BTW didn't look generational in the recent game against Chet Holmgren.

I just think you need to give these kids time. It's extremely rare for a prospect to WOW right off the hop like LeBron did or even Zion two years ago. Generally it takes these top prospects a little while to establish themselves. Outside of Shaq, LeBron and Zion, I don't remember a prospect in the last 30 years who WOW'd right away and looked like a can't miss transcendent talent. Durant and Oden were pretty freakish too but not quite on the level of the other guys.

I kind of agree with motown. I don't see anything elite about him so far also doesn't look like a PG either.

I'm not going to lie I wasn't impressed with Cade's playing style either... but I do see he has the tools, the size, and the IQ. I've also heard that he played like a scoring wing, but switched to pg as a senior.

Either way I'd be good with him as a 1-2 punch with Killian. Jalen Green, Jalen Johnson, BJ Boston would seem more ideal but Cade works too and hes the best passer/creator out of them all.

Usually guys tend to play more like themselves when they get to open space the NBA. You never know what a college coach might be telling a guy to fit into his system.

So many good prospects at the top though. Good news in case we dont get a top 2 pick. Picking anywhere in the top 5 or 6 should be big time this year or I hope

Too early, I want to see Hayes, Bey and Sekou playing before thinking about the next group of young players.
