Imagine we secure 2 picks in the top 4 ...

Man listen, even if we're picking 5th and 19th in the 2021 draft it's going to be epic. We had 8, 27, and 38 in this super weak draft, and there are reasons for excitement. Next year is going to be UNREAL as long as we hold the picks!

I love how you kept it realistic. 5 and 19th is easily conceivable and damn this draft is deep. Studs jusat popping out of the wood work.

What a stat line for Johnson today. Shot 8-8 and had 4 blocks. Weak competition. But starting to really love this kid.

They keep saying Free agents wont sign if we aint a .500 team, but I think they'd make an exception in this case.

If we are blessed to get two of the top four picks, I don't think many of us would be too disappointed if top free agents choose not to sign with us. But if the organization is able to develop what we have now, and get two more top picks, our odds will increase tremendously in signing a superstar free agent.

Thats correct , we'd already have Mitch, RJ, OBI, add 2 more franchise level talents and it really doesn't matter if they pass.

I don’t care where the Mavs finish, I’m trading up from their spot and trying to have 2 top 10 picks. Even if it means trading some of those 2023s & other Mav pick.

I cant see too many teams that would be interested in trading back. In this deep ass draft why would they?

As long as Luka's healthy, it doesn't matter.

Luka kinda chubby and logs major mins. He also plays kinda reckless at times. Combine all that with the short off-season and almost no camp. And...

not inconceivable that Luka misses time due to injury. Missed 10 games his rookie year, 11 games last yr

I think that pick ultimately falls in the 17-22 range

I don't think the Mavs upgraded as much as some other West teams, so he still has to carry the team on his back

Hopefully Amar Sylla doesn't blow up and can be in range for our seconds.

If either of Greg or Isiah converted to a sf they would be great for us and could maybe be there for that Mavs pick.

I think their 4’s, and should even play some small ball 5. If there best player available, got to consider them.

Obviously I want the top pick, mainly because we could do what the Lakers & Mavericks are doing, which is going big as hell and removing the small PG from the lineup, except our SG in the lineup would also be able to create.
