I'd laugh if all the top wings are gone and the Knicks are looking right at Jalen when they have to pick, but already have Obi. Good times. Hope it happens.

Boston looks good from what I've seen, but I'm a bit concerned that he hasn't made a 3 yet (0-7) when his reputation was that of a shooter. But his interior scoring was something I didn't know he was capable of and he looks like a nice defender too. Just for reference in Devin Booker's first game he went 0-6 for 0 points and after 3 games he was 1-11 from 3 and only averaged 10ppg on the season, Boston is averaging 17.5ppg and I don't even think we've seen the best of him yet so it's hard to complain much. Just hit some 3s

I think at 1:50 in the video above, he thought he hit the step back for the 3. Foot probably was on the line.

Yeah, that was the most encouraging shot for him, I thought it was a 3 at the time as well

Commentator 1: After getting Suggs with the number 3 pick the Knicks get another lottery selection from this loaded draft with the Mavs pick as they struggled in this pandemic season.

Commentator 2: They went back to what they know well in finding another Kentucky player that unexpectedly drops out of the top 10 in BJ Boston so now they have their future back court.

*pop*wakes from dream*

Damn life as a Knicks fan really does suck. We can’t even win the lottery in dreams now...... shiiiiiiiiieeeet

That would have been a wet dream..... and in it I also win a lottery and am watching the draft which the Knicks draft number 1 on my personal island nation of STFUpistan.

I would think it comes down to whether or not Jalen can guard the 3 and shoot the 3.

Just let this draft come to you. If you get Cade or Suggs with our pick, then sweet; hopefully there'll someone like Josh Christopher or Terrance Clarke still there at the Dallas pick. If we get a wing with our pick then we hope for Caleb Love / Ayo Dosunmu / Daishen Nix with the Mavs pick.

Only thing we should be worrying about this draft is how to get more picks in it.

My god it’s insane.

And I love every single one of them.

What 5-7 guys are those?

Cade
Suggs
Green
Kuminga
Boston
Z.williams
Keon Johnson

And there is plenty more......

Lol there’s 3 on that list unless we’ve lowered our standards on what a franchise player is

The most unique talents in this draft look like Cade, Suggs and Jalen Johnson so far. I like all these wings, but those 3 stand out so far because of their passing as well.

I’m not worried about Boston I actually like what I’ve seen from him so far but Cade and Suggs should be far and away top 2 for us rn

What do you all think about Evan Mobley? I've not really seen him mentioned in this thread. Granted, I am probably a bit biased as an SC grad. However, in my opinion, he has amazing potential. He's 7' with a 7'5" wingspan and 40" vert. He has a great shot (out to three-point range), and has good lateral quickness for such a big guy. With his length, he projects to be a great rim protector and has also shown himself to be a good passer who can handle the ball (have a look at his assist against Montana on Saturday where he rebounded the ball, dribbled it up court, and then threw a perfectly placed lob). His dad is a coach (for SC) and his grasp of the game and fundamentals show he has been taught well. Given we have Mitch and now Obi, another big is probably not what we need. However, he seems like a less diva and better passing version of Porzingis. Depending on how Mitch and/or Obi develops this year, Mobley could definitely be someone to keep an eye on...

I'm not sure if we can take Jalen because he looks like a power forward and we just took toppin, he looks great though

I want to see if suggs can sustain a good 3pt percentage before I go all in on him, because that will be important from our pg position given the roster, if he can I'd definitely put him in my top 2, maybe even top 1

Jalen J > Obi

Just staking out territory in case Jalen gets drafted. Also, if 3totheheadMelo decides to lock in on Jalen, I can join in.
