Where?

On trade board it's not close to that.

Guess if it's a 2024/2025 lotto protected FRP, it may happen.

The issue is that several teams are trying to get something for taking on Batum so it decreases the value.

Guess it's a fight between OKC, Knicks, Kings (maybe I forgot another option...no idea if the Cavs would do it)

Charlotte sending us some asset would definitely be a nice way to finish the offseason 8-)

I was under the impression that the Knicks were the only team with enough cap to do it.

charlotte doesn't have to clear batum's entire salary to get enough space for the hayward deal.

You mean for the 2022 season?

this is a report on the interview: https://www.b92.net/sport/kosarka/vesti.php?yyyy=2020&mm=11&dd=26&nav_id=1770851

google translate may not be doing it justice, but i'm gleaning that his buyout with efes and covid concerns may be reasons why he's not coming. and next summer may be when it happens.

Yes. That is Jokic's agent Raznatovic, straight out of his mouth. He said Thunder wants him .

Celtics could trade for Horford if they wanted without matching salary being a problem. They probably wouldn't unless injury prompted. But some data suggests Tatum is better at SF and if you made that a priority, others would slide to PF and then you might want a center. Might. Not necessarily Horford but a possible option if they still liked him. At the deadline would save $15-20 million over doing now. If someone else wanted Horford or was incentivized, it could be a multi-team trade.

The ability to use a trade exception attracts teams. 2 seconds isnt a lot but one might assume that the chance of using it is fairly good under that cost. Celtics could also move some or all of their questionable to garbage recent draft picks if they give up on them.

At some point Presti may want to start spending draft capital to start / accelerate the actual future building project unless he is fine will a very long rebuild.

I want a quick rebuild but I think it's a way too soon. We didn't even tanked for a year. Next year draft is so good that no team would be willing to accept future picks for 2021 picks and young players are really expensive as well. Hope Presti will trade for other young players when there's an opportunity (maybe Atlanta with one of their young guys!?). For the rest of the draft picks (2023+), I think we should trade most of them for good role players once we have a decent core of 2-3 ''very'' good young players.
I believe we will start trading most of those picks in +/- 2 years if we are drafting well enough.

I think you guys have an optimistic view of rebuilding. We're not guaranteed to have a core of even okay players by 2023.

Outside of the top 5-10, next years draft spots shouldn't be significantly harder to trade up for than any other year. Also, I think there are quite a few question marks on this draft. Two of the guys haven't even played yet and none of them look to be Luka level at this point.

Chasson Randle signing. Doesn't have to mean more trades coming, but maybe.

Is funny that Sam say this "Right now we are pretty full - Sam Presti on if Andre Roberson will return to the Thunder" and then sign Chasson Randle

There are always potential deals to check out. In particular I think there are some possibilities with Rockets and Spurs.
