Re: 2021 NBA Draft
gsw should tank again and they should be set for the future with possible two top ten picks given the depth of this draft.

Or they try to win with the MVP and another All-Star that they already have... Seriously, stop this Warriors tanking talk, it's ridiculous.

Favorite player in this class. A true dog. Gives me some Marcus Smart vibes.

doesn't matter, we're not gonna waste another year of Steph's prime tanking, we're gonna go for the POs and whatever happens happens.

Would the Suns even be in the market for some tanking this year? Seems more like a turn the corner year or is that not the climate right now with the fan base?
Not speaking from a Suns’ fan POV just the draft in general. But yes playoffs or bust this year.

Yeah Curry is already 32 years old. You can’t take for granted the best shooter of all time to keep tanking. Cherish every moment he’s in the NBA because it won’t last forever.

I am so happy Marcus Carr transferred from Pittsburgh to Minnesota. Dude is going to be a lottery pick. He's finally looking like he's going to be a star. What a **** pleasant surprise. He's going to make this draft class even deeper.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft
Maybe it's just because like everyone I'm riding the Suggs/Cunningham wave but I thought that BJ Boston looked pretty sped up and rattled today against Richmond. Obviously a loss to a mid major opponent isn't going to be his best sample but it's worth noting in regards to his poise and maturity. He still has the physical tools and flashes of excellence. I thought he showed some real talent as a self creator today but he definitely still needs work in regards to his shot selection. I know it's extremely common with young point guards but he really only has one gear in terms of his attacking. Even though they list him as a PG I think he's a lot closer to a secondary initiator who's going to want to score more than pass. Can see why he draws a lot of Ingram comparisons.

His jumper looks better than I expected although very early. Looks to be a good rebounder for his size too.

I don't think anyone view's Boston as a point guard, pretty sure most see him as a SG or even SF.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft
Very early analysis
I'm I the only one that thinks Suggs looks better than Cade so far? Snuggs looks to have a better handle, speed, and creativity. He looks better finishing at the rim and more athletic. Suggs jumper even impressed me considering I didn't watch much of him in HS. I still like Cade and his game. But looking at the two Suggs just looks better while BOTH look to be triple-double threats.

his base is super strong, thick legs, can get decent positions inside and is tough to move, i wanna see more live dribble creation from him but I like what I see so far

Boston looked so uncomfortable. I think we’re going to need to give him some time to show some confidence in his game. He looks like he doesn’t know what his role is. He needs to be aggressive and get to the basket more. So far hes only flashed potential. But I’ve also noticed a lot of players getting super tired in their second and third games. Probably because a lot of these kids spent so much time not playing basketball and these are back to back games mostly. Hope no one gets injured because of this.

As you said, very early days.
What I will note is that it doesn't surprise me that someone like Suggs has more eye-popping plays. Besides the occasional flashy pass and transition dunk, Cade really isn't the player that will have the best highlights night in and night out in college. Still, a lot would have to happen for me to put Cade anywhere but at #1. Suggs is more explosive than him and perhaps a bit more creative in his dribble-creation, but Cade is definitely more in-control, bigger and better defensively. I also trust his shooting more in terms of consistency at this point. Also, Cade to me is quite clearly the best PnR-ball-handler prospect and that will become more relevant at the next level.
That being said, Suggs has definitely surprised me. If the first two games are any indication, he might as well end up being #2 on my board. Kuminga, Green and Mobley are other contenders, and we'll have to see how they each develop over the next months. But the first impression of Suggs at the collegiate level is indeed impressive. He has the tools to become great.
edit: on another note regarding Boston, he looks so bad defensively. Confusion paired with a lack of effort and, of course, a lack of strength. I hope that he'll improve on that end because he's not good enough offensively to just live with lackadaisical defense.

I think Suggs is clearly #2 but that has been my take on him since the spring

Yup way to early to call. But these two have impressed me the most. They scream top pick and flashing lead guard potential. Boston has disappointed me in two games now. He looks very lost out there and Kentucky look to lack chemistry or maybe just relying on him and Clake. Agreed that so far its clearly Suggs/Cade show atm. Obviously, a lot can change on the G league season starts and we can watch Green and Kuminga. Totally forgot about Mobley. I only saw his 20pt highlight and he looks good. Pretty much what you'd want from an NBA 4. He showed that he's able to score in multiple ways (inside-out).

I just caught the highlights but I was impressed with Boston. He looks like he has real scoring potential. This is going to be a he'll of a draft.

End of April you had Suggs 4th, (a tier) below Mobley and Kuminga (and obviously Cade). What changed that you now have him ‘clearly #2’?
