Like I said earlier in the thread, if this were true then why didn't Windhorst tweet this info from his own account? Why are we taking this info as the truth from 2 non-verified twitter accounts??

Yeah the league will be a total joke at that point.

But many of you seem to give him credit by saying it as if there would be 3 superstars on the roster. Do I think it will happen? No. But everyone here is way overreacting. I think a Luka + Giannis signing would be way more detrimental to some people's perspective about superteams. They would dominate for the next 10 years, yet people seem to be angry only when it would involve LeBron. I might even think that a 40-year-old LeBron would make people mad if someone joined him
Lebron is still the best player in the league by a fairly wide margin. That’s not likely to change a year from now.

I thought everyone is simply ignoring whatever Windhorst says. I guess I have things to learn. I don't think he is a guy that would have any inside information and his opinions are rarely interesting.

Why didn’t AD recruit anybody when he was with the Pelicans?

It’s funny this is even a topic when you consider he’s already said he has no interest in playing with Labron. He wants to beat Labron.

He cant even beat Butler and some YMCA dudes
He would be able to if he signed on with Luka and the Mavs or Jimmy Butler and the Heat.

Normally I would ignore this kind of rumor. I mean sports journalist like Windhorst can speculate whatever they want, it's their job. But, superteams / join forces are also common these days. So yeah it's really concerning to think that while it's only a speculation, technically it's possible. The only thing that can prevent it from happening is probably only Giannis himself. Why can't Giannis recruit somebody to play for the Bucks?

I'm not so sure the Giannis and AD pairing would be so dominant, AD's game is reliant upon a play maker to set the table for him and that is not Giannis' game. His lack of a jumper is also a problem with an inside/out combo.
I mean he is an MVP so the overwhelming talent might make fit irrelevant, but it's not as scary a pairing as Giannis and Luka IMHO.

No, Lebron would be Draymond. And yes, people did trash him for recruiting Durant.

Same reason KG and Lebron couldn't. Now granted Min and Cle never had the cap space while they had KG and Lebron to ever truly go after that 2nd star but I doubt they would have been able to get anybody to come. Hell it took Lebron and Kyrie for Love to be on board with coming to Cle in Lebron's 2nd go-round.

They already tried that a handful of years ago. Proposal sounded draconian as F as a Laker fan, but in the end, players still found a way out if they wanted out.
Fans need to learn that players today aren't like the ones from the 80s who stayed in garbage chises like Nique did and then got traded to the fleabag Clippers as a thank you for a great career there while the Hawks were within their only year as a contender in his entire career there. Or Miller and Stock staying put and never winning. Malone to a large extent. Players don't want that today more often than not. You just gotta hope Giannis is dumb enough to stay in MIL, basically. If he does, so be it, but he's going to have the same probs Brawn did winning a title in Cleveland. Brawn was lucky just to get the one. I watch Jordan lites from the 80s and I can't believe he didn't throw weekly hissy fits about the rank roster around him, Granville Waiters and Brad Sellers, etc. Dave Corzine was considered a solid center for them. Maybe MIL did really get lucky and he's the superstar w/ the heart of gold who wants to brave MIL winters for his entire career. Kareem didn't, I know that. He was California Dreamin. No thanks, we don't need him, he doesn't need to ruin his legacy like KD did. Stay in Milwaukee.

But, who knows...

I'll take your word, but Windhorst has swung a lot missed quite a few times in his predictions.
