I knew Jake Paul was going to win because he has more experience, height and reach on his side but I honestly didn't think Nate was going down like he did in the second.

props to Nate for even trying though!

Props to Nate for trying. I think he's carved himself out pretty diverse post-NBA portfolio after leaving the NBA as a 10yr vet despite his stature and adding professional boxing to his resume (that includes author, restaurant owner, his own show on Players Tribute/YT) even if it ends up being one fight is a hell of a career. I don't fault him at all for trying his hand at something completely different to what he's done and being an elite top 1% of 1% athlete does give him some advantages that most regular humans picking up boxing at 36 just won't have so it's not entirely crazy for him to step into the ring.

Good for him

Ha
Snoop D ...’ you don’t play boxing’

That whole event was just weird and bizarre. I think boxing in general just looks super weird to me now though after watching MMA for so long now, though.

I think Tyson hit the nail on the head. Youtube/social media boxers are the reason why boxing is making a comeback. Let the real men kill each other in MMA. Past their prime celebrites/athletes can duke it out in boxing ala "Celebrity Deathmatch".

I just pray to all that's holy that he stays healthy and has a long career. I don't care what position he plays.

I hope they play Ingram at the 2, Zion at the 3, Jaxson Hayes at the 4 and Adams at the 5.

This has to be quite the conundrum for NBA twitter who love to fawn over New Orleans moves but are going to hate this.

Speaking of fawning Portland's GM must be a super cool guy or a source it rumors because the press is going on like 4 off-seasons in a row where they can't praise Portland enough. I hated their off-season last year and they weren't very good, this off-season has been better but nothing to go crazy about.

Jared Dudley will be the highest-paid cheerleader in the league this season.

That has to be the worst three point shooting starting five in the league, with Bledsoe at the pg

One ring just ain't enough for the most athletic hands in the league!

This knee issue with Kemba that's basically been hurt for like 12 months has to have Boston spooked.

Is John Wall healthy? Klay highly paid as well. We gave Dudley a 3/30 for cheerleading. I was surprised Dudley got that....and almost said this guy has gotten more free money by doing very little or nothing than anyone I remember. Haslem has been getting paid for awhile but not like we paid Dudley I don't think.

I guess Batum is up there too.

Did they try and trade him before revealing his injury?

Yeah I think they did. Although I don't think it's any secret around the league that theres something very troubling with that knee. Hopefully this treatment does the trick.

Oh yeah for their careers Dudley’s definitely been more overpaid than Haslem. His only overpaid contract though was the one we gave him. Other than that, he’s been on pretty fair deals.

These days though Haslem and Dudley are making about the same $$ to serve as veteran leaders in the locker room.

So I absolutely think the league will do away with the 1 and done rule by then and if Bronny JR is an NBA level player Lebron will spend his final season with whatever team gets his son. Kind of cool if it breaks that way.

Jackson was born in San Diego County, California while his mother, Apples Jones, was serving in the U.S. Navy and lived there until he was eight months old when she moved them to Michigan to be closer to her family.[1][2] In the eighth grade, he was held back a grade due to his passion for basketball overtaking his grades, with Jackson going to Voyager Middle School for his repeated year before entering high school.[3] He attended Consortium College Prep School in Detroit, Michigan his freshman and sophomore years, before moving to Napa, California to attend Justin-Siena High School for his junior and senior year.
