Conny is even more of "just a guy." Except, inexplicably, he cost 3x as much for 3x as long.

True but if keeping him keeps Giannis happy, he's easily worth that contract.

Same. Wouldve been a nice, versatile bench wing. Id probably prefer him to Pat, Craig, and Forbes.
GR3 definitely worth more than the minimum.. would have been stoked if we picked him up.

Would’ve def taken him over Pat.

Yup. For sure would as well.

GR3 I'd guess will be available by the deadline. DJ and a 2nd could maybe get it done. Have to think DJ is getting shopped everywhere for a similar player to GR3 to get some use out of that salary slot and/or being shopped just to dump the money and clear roster spot.

We've already pretty much exhausted our draft capital for the next 7 years. Would rather not compound that by giving up more 2nd rounders for fringe rotation wings who've played on 5 teams in as many years. Should be plenty of buy-out guys available mid-season.

I'd probably agree. But I'd also be surprised if a move of some kind doesn't happen between now and the deadline. And since all 1sts are gone all you have left is 2nds. But yea, maybe someone with space would just take DJ off our hands and hope they can get something out of him. Thus freeing up some space for the Bucks to get a min guy or buyout person.

Good riddance Andrew Bogut.

He should be the Mendoza Line of whether someone is a bust or not. Solid production but there was always something missing (health, mental engagement, etc)
Bucks tricked me into being a diehard in 2001, LeBron is the 2nd best player ever, and pizza is awesome.

Friendly reminder that the only reason Bogut has a championship ring is because Kerr benched him in the Finals. The entire series changed as a direct result. Nice call, Steve! Of course nobody needs a reminder about how much of a colossal douchebag Bogut was and is.

Anybody got Johnny Mac shouting "That is NOT A BLOCK"?

Top 5 Andrew Bogut memories right there.

Edit: Found it. 8:00

Amos Barshad: "So you got a job, a place to live, a license? What’s left?"

Giannis: “Nothing. Just get a ring now.”

I'm mildly concerned about having to back track on any platitudes given his immediate retirement career move into self-published podcasting is likely to result in even more "I can't believe he said that" conspiracy theories and libertarian quotes.

I give it a month until he’s on Sky News After Dark.

Are there numbers on Jeff Teague's deal with the Celtics? I haven't seen much of him lately, but is he significantly worse than Augustin? Numbers look similar

Edit: looks to be for the vet's minimum
