Voted Jokic - led a good team last year and he always seems to come up big in big situations. He's one of the few players who teams are making roster moves to match up with. Steph and KD are hard. They were obviously top players, but it's hard to figure out where to put them now until we see them play again.

Nominate: Bam.

25/10/5 in the playoffs, around 30 pts a game at the end of the season and .400 from 3. Still fairly young.

I'd take Curry over Lillard in a heartbeat. No disrespect to Lillard, but Curry is different.
Good assessment:

Okay, I got

LBJ
Giannis
Kawhi
AD
Harden
Curry(when healthy)
Butler(for what he did in the Finals)
Durant( is top 3 when healthy, no idea how he's gonna look now)

Who else is better than Tatum? Stats, age, etc.

Hey - I'm no euro luver but there are these 2 guys over in the West (Luka & Jokic) who might have good cases

But hey I see your a Celtic stan so I guess it's understandable you might over rate your boys similar to your GM

Jokic is not better than Tatum. When it comes to Luka, I dunno most people look into offense and judge who's better.

Tatum is the better defender, more versatile, longer, better 3 point shooter- Luka has been the better scorer, facilitator.

Btw, I love both Jokic and Doncic. Joker is awesome, in the current NBa and the way defense is played I dunno how you win a title with Jokic at center.

Must be the wildest take I've seen on here in a while. Tatum isn't even close to either Jokic or Luka and probably never will be.

While I do think Luka & Jokic are better than Tatum at the moment to suggest he’s not even close is a bit far fetched. His stat line in the playoffs this year was basically the exact same as Jokic’.

Why, give me more, I need to know. Cause Tatum has been pretty much on that level last year. Did as well if not better in the playoffs. And again he's a FAR superior defender to both of them, while a much improved facilitator, too.

I doubt arguing with you will give any meaningful results. If you watched the 2020 play-offs and concluded that Tatum played as well, or even better, than Jokic and Luka then I think our perceptions are too far apart. Tatum being a better defender doesn't close the massive offensive gap.

Vote: Curry
Nominate: Bam Adebayo

I’m pretty surprised Tatum has so many votes. I would definitely take Curry, Butler, Lillard and Jokic ahead of him. I would even take Durant too if he’s close to fully himself again after the Achilles injury. I imagine Durant’s injury is much harder to come back from compared to Curry’s injury though.

He played at least as well. And we had a fairly decent run with 2 of our 4 top guys being hurt.

Tatum isn’t the 7th best current player, he’s the best ever.

Jayson Christopher Tatum has been the best player in the history of the NBA, maybe ever!

Voting for Jokic until I see where Curry and Durant are at after 2-3 months.

Nominate George.
