yeah Boston is definitely towards the top of the Knicks wish list....I wonder why

it'll be interesting to see if they take Boston over a prospect who had a better freshman season than him due to connections (I'm assuming they're gonna draft a freshman since thats the strength of this draft)

Don’t worry too much, Jalen Green signed up with CAA and that’s probably even more important than any UK vibes. Boston just doesn’t look like someone that should be a top 5 pick in this draft. His defense is pretty meh and he’s not someone that creative off the bounce. Definitely much rawer than Cade or Suggs. If we end up outside the top 5, I’d expect him to be in play but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.

Take Boston with the Dallas pick :D

I think it's too early to start getting down on Boston after just 2 games. the 3PT shot hasn't fallen yet, but I'm not too concerned (someone posted Bookers first few games and he shot poorly from 3 too)

definitely disagree w/ notion he's not that creative off the bounce. that's 1 of the best aspects of his game, but he hasn't been playing on-ball enough, likely due to the Kentucky system

history of Kentucky guards is pretty good, and he's 1 of the most talented recruits they've had recently

his defense also looks pretty solid imo except for this one play where he got backdoored. he's averaging 17.5ppg and 8.5rpg and he's only going to keep getting better. very good chance he will go top 5.

A lot of good games on tap today
I’m going to watch UNC vs Stanford at 4pm (Z.Williams, Love) Duke vs. Mich St at 7:30(J. Johnson, Steward) and UK Kansas at 9:30(Boston, Clarke). Also Mobley and Cade play today at 2:30 and 7:00 respectively

There’s just a real solid top 4 right now between Cade, Suggs and the g league guys. I haven’t watched anything from the guys that went to the g league but I know Green is like a freak athlete. I’m assuming cowabunga is pretty awesome, since everyone is raving about him too. Depending on if someone needs a big I could see Mobley being that 5th guy but obviously time we’ll tell. It might be better if Boston is there at 6 or 7 for when we drop in the lottery again.

Yes that's true if we are picking 6 or 7 and we have our choice between guys like J. Johnson, Boston, Z. Williams I'm pretty happy about it. To be fair "the g league guys" haven't actually played yet, RJ hampton was a top 5 pick until he actually played in australia and then he went 24th, I'm high on green too but they haven't actually played so I don't think we can say they're solidly in the top 4 by any stretch

Yeah, I think it’s a solid chance Green and Kuminga slides out the top 5 because Cade, Suggs, Johnson, Mobley, Zhaire and BJ will be seen more. I hope that’s the case. I’m super high on Green.

I don’t necessarily disagree but the only way they lower their stocks is by playing poorly. Unless, someone behind them really lights it up. Green is just so highly touted that if he didn’t step onto a court this season I’d bet someone would take a shot at him that high. The past two years there’s been a couple guys drafted above where their college production warranted based on who they were in high school. Cam Reddish was still a top 10 pick and was worse than Knox in college. I hope they play and light it up cuz the more good players at the top of the draft the better it is for us.

Yeah that's what I'm saying. We don't know, they might struggle a little in the g-league, there's some real ballers there probably tougher than the college kids opponents

Looks like he had a killer stat line. 17 and 11, 2 blks. 8-12 and 1-1 from 3.

I know we don’t need Mobley but every time I watch him....... wow

That kid can move his feet on the block , shoot with range , block shots/contest shots , make smart decisions with the ball in his hands in transition, etc.

From what games I’ve seen so far, my fav Freshman are :

1. Suggs
2. Jalen Johnson
3. Mobley
4. Cade
5. Ziaire
6. BJ

Now in terms of fit , that list would be rearranged

He’s just so coordinated at his size. Like I don’t cringe every time he dribbled the ball. He def moves better than KP did.

Needs a lot of work. I could actually see him staying another year if he doesn’t progress through the year.

Return to New York Knicks
