The video I watched seemed to omit defensive highlights.
Banned temporarily for, among other sins, being "Extremely Deviant".

no wonder everyone is saying he can step in and be a backup veteran PG. he looks about 35 in that picture.

I still likes Bane more.
But Lillard thinks PP will be a stud, that’s enough for pick 26

I liked Bane too. but this was also about taking a player who could capably contribute as a primary ballhandler sooner rather than later. Bane is a shooter for sure but he's a secondary ballhandler at best. This was a pick based on "fit" this time.

26 + 11 = 37
So our rookies combined are only as good as Semi Ojeleye by himself.

I don't know, but based on this edited highlight video from the Y I think it's fair to say that Pritchard is the greatest PG the Celtics have had since Cousy.

I saw him grab a defensive board multiple times on one highlight reel. That counts, right?? Ahem.

I know everyone is mostly joking but I have seen the less edited version of that run and although I don't know who the player was, he straight dominated Pritchard in the post. Backed him down and scored right over him easily, multiple times. I almost cried because of how often they allowed it and how easy it was. The guy would just jump and lay the ball off the glass as if Pritchard wasn't there. We seem to love guys who are easily dominated in the post. I mean we can't expect him to ever start for us in the playoffs but my God, it is going to be IT4 and kemba level bad if we do. It wasn't for lack of trying but that's why the saying is "you can't teach height" and not "you can't teach effort."
NAME ON THE FRONT OF THE JERSEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(!)

Re: Welcome to Boston, Payton Pritchard!
Pritchard isn't in the Patrick Williams scrimmage section of that video, correct?
I ask because the white guys in that part all looked like ... well, like the traffic cones in the shooting drills at the end.
