Will Zion last that long? Am I the only one who was pretty dismayed by his conditioning and defense? I always felt like he was a generational talent during pre-draft but his weight looks like it might be a serious long term issue. I never paid too much attention to his detractors regarding his size but some of those criticisms look like they have merit.

Zion is not Charles Barkley. Chuck had some force to his game, but he was also pretty durable. What he didn't have was Zion's propulsion which is going to shred this guy to bits if he doesn't lose weight and commit to some kind of yoga (which kept Kareem in the game forever though he was an entirely different body type).

I called it like I called KP's career. Both will never achieve their potential due to repeated injuries.

The best basketball players are usually not the most jacked up guys for a reason. It is too much of an airborne sport with unpredictable landings and sudden lateral shifts for that much meat. I'd say MJ is probably the gold standard for basketball physiques.

Right , Lebron being the one exception to this...he's been durable his whole career while being petty damned jacked...

I imagine a team of Filipina masseuses converge on him when he gets home and they knead him to sleep. He does seem to take care of himself so he's somebody for Zion to model himself after

Just watched the whole video. That was inspiring to me. It makes me want to tighten my focus and do better.

Wow, Khawi and Pandemic P! We all know the NBA has become a players’ league, but this behavior is at a whole other level of diva.

That is ridiculous. Why would they let them run things like that? No wonder they fell apart in the playoffs.

I have to say, respects to Capn'O, but I don't love the decision to split the threads before there is any actual basketball at all.

that’s like killing two birds with one stone. The ideal trade for the Knicks.

Wall sucks and this puts the wizards in the playoffs so that picks not even in the lottery.

Wall is broken and they need some hope of re-signing Beal? Looks like they're going to try to compete for that 9th spot.
