OPJ to BOS for TPE and a 1st? OPJ replaces Hayward. They add Thompson and Teague with OPJ and I think they actually improve.

James Harden anyone?

Post#1202 » by MGB8 » Thu Dec 3, 2020 2:20 am

Let’s give poor Duck a heart attack. I mean, Houston is said to want a young high level player + Jrue Holiday level picks / swaps.

LaVine, Otto Porter’s expiring, Hutchinson, Kornett, for Jrue equivalent picks/swaps for Harden + House + Tucker (disgruntled, apparently).

New depth chart:

1: White, Sato, Archi
2: Harden, (White), Valentine
3: House, P.Williams, (Sato/Val)
4: Lauri, Thad, Tucker
5: WCJ, Gafford, Vonleh

That lets Harden ball dominate like he wants, but is pretty nice fitting around him.

I will cease to be a Bulls fan if they acquire James Harden.

It’s not an empty threat. He’s unwatchable.

I'd much rather try to do White/Markkanen/Porter for Harden/House, than include Zach.

I'll always be a Bulls fan - but yeah... I have zero interest in seeing James Harden in a Bulls jersey

Why the team they have now is watchable lol? First time as a bulls fan where I didn’t care to watch this team any more last season and was glad the season ended when it did.

Harden at least would bring excitement back regardless of if we like him or not. I don’t really like him or his style of play either but hes a top player in the league, can’t say no to that IF they had a chance to land someone like that.

Pass. But if there's a next move where we pair Harden with another star then I can get behind it. Problem is there are no real stars that are worth chasing right now who is available.

Harden + what will be left of our roster is not good enough to be a contender so it's a pass.

If harden is over his play style and buys in I'm down. I highly doubt it though

I watched every game during the Eddy Curry / Tyson chandler years and yes I’d prefer that to James Harden.

It’s not like Harden gets you a championship. He’s a floppin’ whinin’ bum who the refs let travel, and they also give him some absurd foul calls, both which inflate his numbers. I’m not saying he’s not good...I’m just not into it. And yes I’d rather watch Zach Lavine, Coby, Lauri try and figure it out - even if they are likely to fail and be sent away next year

I do this. I easily give up Coby White for James Harden. I wanna win.

Having Harden here gives us a huge shot to get into the playoffs. Our current cast? I don't see it.
We have to get lucky to even form a contender. Not many franchises become that. It's really about making the playoffs and see we go from there.

He's not coming here anyway so y'all can relax.

Nah, we have the up and coming Harden slayer in Zach. Will give it a miss.

This would be a perfect deal if Chandler Hutchison and Patrick Williams can prove they're capable of holding down the small forward position.

Inkind of agree. We would be left with Harden + very little and no draft picks for the foreseeable future. BUT, as you mentioned, if getting Harden now includes either AD or Giannis next summer, then can't say no to that.

You definitely can't deny that it would be easier to sell top FAs on playing with Harden, as opposed to joining the core we have now. Nobody is coming here to play with what we have now.

F*** no.

James Harden led teams aren't winning s***.

I'd rather try building and developing a winner.
