Not sure why. Both contracts are terrible over the next 3 years. Basically the exact same contract left over the next 3 years with only a few hundred thousands difference.

Shams had a tweet, form lotto protected down to top 8 over 3 or 4 years, the 2 seconds. Should
end up a mid first.
Def worth it for Wiz. Unlike Harden, Beal is willing to play off ball. Better fit for Russ, who p, even in serious decline, should be much better than post injury, no defense Wall.

I thought Walls contract was longer. My bad.

Beal and Russ is a horrendous duo. I can see Beal now sitting in that corner while Russ takes those stupid bombs.

Well, barre a total surprise-recovery from Wall, I don't see how WAS doesn't "win" this trade. WTF is HOU thinking? To me this is as bad as the CP3 trade that put them in this hole to begin with.
Westbrook is gonna put the Wizards in the Eastern playoffs. Wall is a $140m injury hazard.

With that, seems like a good trade for the Wiz unless Ball is actually healthy, but that seems so unlikely.
I've kind of thought Morey purposefully screwed the Rockets with that Westbrook/Paul trade because he knew he'd be gone the next year.
NBA players returned to a league-wide testing program over the past week, with testing beginning between Nov. 24-30 depending on the day that a player returned to the team’s market.
Of the 546 players tested for COVID-19 during this initial return-to-market testing phase, 48 have returned positive tests.
Anyone who has returned a confirmed positive test during this initial phase of testing in their team’s market is isolated until they are cleared for leaving isolation under the rules established by the NBA and the Players Association in accordance with CDC guidance.
Players will be tested on a daily basis throughout the season.

Holy crap! That's 1 in 10. Unbelievable.
Have all these guys been attending Otto's parties or what?
I see major trouble brewing for the NBA season.
