Probably not. If one visits Lakers’ forums, there are still holdouts

If LeBron trained MMA for a few years it would be a different story.

I get colby would win, but yeah if bron trained the pure strength difference would offset anything else, theres a reason they have divisions and alot of guys that dominate one division get destroyed in the next, brons got 10 pounds on brock lesner when he fights lmfao

Brock is probably 285ish in the octagon, but yeah agree generally. Bron would really just need a year or so to train and he’d kill Colby. Maybe even like 6 months

This is not true at all. When people say we don’t realise how good the average nba player is at basketball when we watch a scrub destroy normal people it’s the exact same for pro fighters.

Lebron could train for three years and Colby would still kill him.

At this point, if the last of the Kobe-stans don't accept LeBron, then they likely never will.

So LeBron basically said he's not going to play during the preseason. I didn't think he would tho but I would've loved to see some early minutes with the new crew. Guess we'll have to wait for the 22nd.

The best two parts from that road trippin were 1) lebron saying he’s looking forward to playing with Marc Gasol and they can talk about how he’s got his DPOY trophy in his cabinet

And 2) Frye saying he was a true centre coming into the league and they had him guard Shaq and he said “ this ain’t it “ and transitioned into a stretch 5

Also in that road trippin lebron says he’s touched a basketball 2 times since they won a title and has no interest in jumping back in soon. Said he doesn’t want to play pre season

Is part 2 out?

I watched the first 40ish min, but I don't see part 2

I am not super worried about Lebron not playing in the preseason, but I hope he has at least been staying in shape (assuming he has) and shooting around a bit

Assuming he will coast for a lot of the season until the 4th Q and big games

Don’t think there’s a part 2. The wade one says part 1 too and they don’t have a part 2 under their podcasts

Seems Lebron also caught Luka-fever. Now he knows how Jordan felt when he saw Kobe's game

No he wouldn't. I recognize the insane skill level of UFC fighters but it's not the same thing between MMA and basketball, weight classes exist for a reason in MMA - size/strength is massively more important in MMA than basketball, where you can be the smallest guy on court and still by far the best player (CP3, Curry, list goes on and on). Greg Hardy is a perfect example here, in just 3 years of training (with zero MMA experience before that) he was holding his own against a legit UFC contender at HW in Volkov.

LeBron is even more ridiculous physically than Greg Hardy, and he'd be fighting a 5'11" ~180 lb welterweight, not a 6'7" 260lb monster like Volkov. LeBron with 3 years of intense, focused MMA training could destroy dudes that much smaller than him.

Nike really **** up. I don't think Lebron is going to get a player better than Luka to be his first signee.

This is the first guy LeBron openly endorsed in that way. He sees himself in Luka and knows it's going to be him that will carry the league the next 10-15 years. I'm hoping for them to face each other in the WCF.
