Jared Butler for Baylor is on. Dude is no joke. 7-12 so far this season on threes

Yea I think Mobley is my no 1. He seems like he’d be able to play next to wiseman as the 4. His fluidity and touch is unreal.

Also Ziaire maybe the guy we need his shot is wet. He’d be able to help open up the lane for guys like wiseman, Wiggins, oubre.

The ‘21 draft is so, so stacked. There’s probably 8-9 guys I’d take over anyone in 2020 at this point (Cade, Green, Boston, JJ, Kuminga, Suggs, Mobley, Ziaire just off the top of my head).

Wiseman + MIN 21 is going to be a nice on the fly re-tool (or trade bait for a superstar).

That's just insane. Ziaire isn't close to being better than everyone in the 2020 draft, and the other guys haven't played nearly enough to be confident in that assessment.

There's a chance that this draft has three, four or maybe even five players (if all the prospects ball out) that I'd have taken #1 in 2020 had they played last year. But ‘probably 8-9’? That's just rose-colored glasses, and that spell will wear off over the course of the year – or you must be insanely low on every single top-prospect from 2020.

Mobley is the only player so far that is heads and shoulders ahead of the 2020 class. Waiting to see Green and Kaminga, but I'm not that high on Cade.

Scottie Lewis is so fun to watch on defense. And while he doesn't look like he has (or will ever) flip the switch on being a more aggressive offensive player, he's still really solid on offense because he doesn't really make mistakes and can hit shots when open.

He reminds me of Tony Allen or Bruce Bowen when it comes to just being locked in on every defensive position, and he has the Tony Allen (even better really) type athleticism to stay with anyone.

His lack of "go to scorer" mentality would probably put him in our range if we were keep our pick in the mid/late 1st. He's my current favorite if we end up in that range.

Probably a combination of both, tbh. I was pretty low on the 2020 prospects. Of the guys we’ve seen so far I’m pretty confident in my assessment of Cade, Suggs, JJ, and Mobley as being better than anyone in 2020 so far. Obviously some of the rest are more projection than production.

I’m with you on Mobley and we basically have no shot at him. To bad because a front line of Wiseman and Mobley would kill the league for the next 10 years.

However, I’m way higher on Cunningham than you are. To me, him and Johnson from Duke are the two top guys other than Mobes

Cade will be a good player but I don't see superstar.

Jalen Suggs would be just fine.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

F that.
We need to make the playoffs so Wiseman, Paschall and whoever else we have any hopes of developing can get some big game experience and we dont start down a path of losing again.

Would be nice to keep our pick tho. :D

That’s some Cohan mojo right there....would never root for that. That’s would also mean Steph and Draymond were hurt and everyone else sucked.

Yea I was going to say some stuff but wait till after the game but I've watched alot of Jalen Johnson after his first monster game and he looks like a completely different player. Like very other top freshman prospect in this draft, he is just raw right now, like I'm very surprised how raw these players are. I mean it's understandable since they just came out of highschool, but every one was touting this as the next great almighty draft, comparing it to the 2018 draft, which is just wayy off

Like I predicted this draft was very overrated. I'd rather have top picks in 2022, but who knows, maybe that one too is overrated, but one thing for sure is this draft is not as good as people say, I'd say that the top 2 maybe 3 prospects in 2021 is better than top guys in 2020 but it's actually not by much and the 2020 guys were wayyy more NBA ready than guys in this 2021 draft. Guys in this draft need almost 3 years+ to even demand significant minute sin the NBA I think, unless you are Cade and Jalen Green/Suggs maybe

I think Johnson is suited for a back up 4 role in the NBA, he is a good man defender, but his offball awareness is not that good and his offensive game is not ready at the moment
