I just realized I posted a video of Both Gach getting his career high against Tyler Bey who was my pick haha. Today has a good game between Standford VS North Carolina.

Reason is because Zhairre Williams played yesterday for Standford and he had 19pts, 8reb, 3ast. He is gonna be a problem today. He was very impressive yesterday. If Tyrell Terry were still there they would be a problem. The UNC VS Standford game comes on
ESPN - 4:00 pm today.

I will give him another chance. I see "SOMETHING" there but for some reason he didn't have a good game yesterday. His team does play tonight at 7:00 in a consolation game. In this game he drops 36 points against Tyshon Alexander whom is known for super defense. Weird. I do like the fact that he is a combo guard. I have been higher on picks before but I do see him being worthy of at least 2nd round consideration.

Instead of Trenton New Jersey we can use his name and duh he would be a new player so he would get a new jersey lol.

Re: 2021 NBA Draft Thread

Post#129 » by UNCNYC » Wed Dec 2, 2020 11:42 am

Welp today is the final day (at least in succession) in my guaging of talent that could be available to us in this coming draft.
Since SG is a position of need it will showcase just about all of the SG's I think could benefit our team.
Center position could also get a suggestion in game one.

The games are listed in order as to which game comes on first time wise.

-----
REASON 1 - NORTH CAROLINA TAR HEELS VS TEXAS LONGHORNS (CHAMPIONSHIP GAME)

This game will feature a player who I think could end up as a Center we should or at least could target in Jericho Simms.
Simms has a lot of upside. Very athletic. I am not sure about his jumper yet.
It also has Kai Jones who I forgot about who I liked a couple of years ago who could be an option at center as well.

Jericho Simms - 8 PTS, 7 REB (he had this in only 14 mins of action yesterday due to foul trouble)
Kai Jones - 13.5 PTS, 5.0 REB

GAME DATE - ESPN, Today, 4:00 pm.

-----
REASON 2 - Tre Mann VS OKLAHOMA SOONERs or (LATER GATOR)

This game intriuges me because I will finally get to see if Tre Mann has the goods. I have been a fan of his for a while.
It's his sophmore season so I will see if he is about to become one of college basketballs elite.
It also has Scottie Lewis who is his backcourt mate who some have as a late first rounder.
I call this game Sooners or Later meaning if Tre doesn't give a good showing I might drop him out of who I think we should
take with our pick. 30 years ago the Undertaker made his debut around this time of year. Could Tre's season debut be as epic?

Tre Mann - Season debut

GAME DATE - ESPN-2, Today, 5:00 pm. / FLORIDA GATORS VS OKLAHOMA SOONERS

-----
REASON 3 - David Duke VS John Petty (REMATCH...? WELL SORT OF LOL)

This game features David Duke whos game I liked, didn't like, now LOVE all within 24 hours lol.
I think he could end up giving a run for the money as our top pick.
He goes against a savvy veteran in John Petty who I have always rooted for. They should be guarding each other.
This game could give both players a chance to redeem themselves after a poor showing in their opening games,
but who both bounced back with really strong showings in their 2nd games. Could be the best game of the bunch.

David Duke - 15.0 PTS, 4.5 REB, 3.5 AST
John Petty - 14.3 PTS, 5.3 REB, 2.3 AST (had 22,4,6 yesterday)

GAME DATE - ESPN-2, Today, 7:00 pm. / PROVIDENCE VS ALABAMA

-----
REASON 4 - Ayo Dosunmu VS 2 Headed Monster (THE MAIN EVENT)

If were still up we should be in for a doozy (no pun intended haha).
This should be an awesome matchup and game. This game will feature Ayo Dosumnu going against Jared Butler and kind of
Macio Teague as well (who both play pg and sg for Baylor).
As of now I have Jared Butler ranked right behind David Duke as to who I think we can draft at SG. And I also have Macio Teague
as a 2nd round sleeper.

Ayo Dosunmu -- 25.7 PTS, 7.7 REB, 6.7 AST
Jared Butler - 18.5 PTS, 3.0 REB, 4.5 AST
Macio Teague - 18.0 PTS, 6.5 REB, 2.5 AST

GAME DATE - ESPN, Today, 10:00 pm. / #2 BAYLOR VS #5 ILLINOIS

Should we rename this "UNCNYC Big Board Thread" and just let him put only his updates in here and have a separate thread for everyone else to talk about draft?

Realistically, this looks like a decent class thus far, but have not really seen anyone standing out far above others. Could be an okay year to pick later if it happens if prospects don't start to separate themselves.

If we do pick 7-15 range, I wouldn't mind grabbing a versatile wing defender. We do not really have that on our team right now.

-----
Fanta UNC island - The david DUKE Thread

Trendon's New Jerzy - The Trendon Watdford Thread

Branded Brandon - The James Bouknight Thread

You Got Served - The Jared Butler Thread

Say aYo To The Good Guy - The aYo Dosonmu Thread

I am NOT number 4 - The Jason Preston Thread

GoTchA - The Both Gach Thread

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Rap The Gach Bah - The Both Gach Thread

-----
Say Hello To The Good Guy - The Ayo Dosumnu Thread

Hey Yo - The aYo Dosunmu Thread

Inspired by razor ramon

-----
I AM NUMBER ZERO - The Jason Preston Thread

He reminds me of LaMelo Ball and since he is not Lavars son but he does have 3 other sons.
Also there was a movie called I AM NUMBER FOUR.
Or I AM NUMBER ZERO, with ZERO being his jerzey number now in college, and since he is not lavars son lol

lol, This draft is kinda weak in the SF spot if we don't get a top 7 and if all don't declare. Bouknight plays tonight at 7 espn if you are interested in a 2 guard. He kinda sorta reminds me of Brandon Roy.

Tre Mann and Florida play next. I wonder if he will have another big game. I am not sure if this is tournament format. If it is Bouknight will play the winner. I wonder if we would draft Tre Mann because if we trade Graham and or Rozier we would need a backup PG. Thats why I want us to draft Ayo because he is a combo guard and gives us insurance.

This is a list of players I think we should consider drafting. This draft is coming around. It's deep but still missing something. I do like the prospects tho. There are even more prospects I can list (assuming some fall and a few I left out). But these are guys I like

Jared Butler, Jason Preston, Scotty Pippen JR, Tre Mann, Ty Berry, Arturs Zagars,

SG -
Ayo Dosunmu, James Bouknight, David Duke, Keyontae Johnson, Macio Teague, Moses Moody, Adam Miller,

SF -
Both Gache, Aaron Wiggins, Colby Jones, Andre Jackson, Toumani Camara, Trey Murphy, Derrick Alston Jr., Malcolm Cazalon,

PF -
Trendon Watford, Azuolas Tubelis, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Chris Smith, Amar Sylla, Makur Maker, Brady Manek,

C -
Charles Bassey, Derek Culver, Jericho Sims,

This draft is very SG heavy. Here is another player that I will add in Cameron Thomas. Not a flashy player but is a scoring machine.
I like Adam Miller a lil more but he could give him a run.

I changed my mind, I want BJ Boston. Has anyone seen him yet? He looks ridiculous. His body and arms are unfair for college basketball. How are you supposed to guard that? And Jesus Christ the wetness on that jumpshot. Like Jeremy Lamb with spider arms.

And Mobley looks just like Chris Bosh did in college. I think in this draft, Cunningham, Green, Boston and Mobley are all franchise players.

I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

I like both and have seen both play. I have them both rated fairly high.

SG - Ayo Dosunmu, James Bouknight, David Duke, Adam Miller, DJ Boston

C - Evan Mobley, Azuolas Tubelis, (I have these two tied)
