Also can't we just waive mcginnis or whoever this dude is and just get Dudley back already ??

Don't get me wrong, I like Dudley to return too, as a player development coach or something but he is ALSO taking up space plus they need bodies to practice with the regular players and you never know, you might find the next Alex Caruso or next Wesley Matthews out there. Guys like Bruce Bowen, Ben Wallace, John Starks were all undrafted players who went out to make significant contributions for their teams.

Cook gone bro.. Have we signed GR3?

Yeah Cook gone but I kind of expect him back for a minimum deal.

GR3 is still not signed, nor is Dudley..

2nd Half
6 min: Schroeder, KCP, LeBron, Davis, Harrell
4 min: Schroeder, Matthews, Kuzma, Davis, Gasol
4 min: LeBron, Caruso, Matthews, Kuzma, Markieff

I honestly think McKinnie is going to surprise some people with his defense and his hops. I also have a feeling Kostas is going to make a leap too.

I don't really like the Cook deal, but at least we are now complete:

Matthews/Schroeder/Cook
KCP/Caruso/Horton-Tucker
James/McKinnie/Dudley
Davis/Kuzma/Markieff
Harrell/Gasol/Kostas

Does somebody know if we can still take someone from waivers (like Dedmon) or w/ the hard cap and our recent signings we are done?

This team is so **** deep.

I don't see a rotation when all bodies are healthy in which all guys are happy and there's no pouting going on. It's simply not feasible, we legitimately have 12 guys who deserve(and would probably see anywhere else in this league) at least 20 mins a game.

We might go Charlotte's route. Last year they had 3 centers splitting the minutes(Biyombo, Zeller and Willy Hernangomez). All scrubs but that's not the point.

Point is they played two of them at all times. Each guy played 4 games in a row, and sat the 5th game with a DNP.
We might go this route but on a larger scale, with all the roster.

I think this might be a more feasible option for the roster, because playing each game but 8-10 mins for some guys on occasions means worse stats(looking at you Kuzma and Markieff)and more likely less money when the next contract is up.
This way if you get random DNP's, you play less games but play more minutes in the games you do play and therefore you keep your stats up and decent contract aspirations. And you keep your body fresh for the playoffs.

Here's my thought process:

We have our 12 man powerhouse:

Lebron
Davis
Harrell
Schroder
KCP
Gasol
Caruso
Kuzma
Morris
THT
Matthews
Kostas

And the bench warmers:

Dudley
Cook
McKinnie
Cacok

When all bodies are healthy, take out 3 of the top those guys each game(DNP), the remaining 9 are our main rotation. The bench warmer squad is active each game, and 1 or 2 of them might see some scraps from now and then(5-10 mins here and there), to have 11 guys playing in a particular game.

Big 9 should split most of the minutes though, each playing at least 20 a game.
Rotate the guys so it would be a similar scenario Charlotte used, each guy plays 4 out 5 games.
That would mean 20% of load managed games for each during the season, roughly 12 games out of the 72.
Of course, Davis and Lebron need to be staggered so one of them plays in every game. When of them is in the 3-some who sits, the other one needs to be on the active roster and be the main guy for that night.

That way everyone important plays reasonable minutes, get to showcase their talent since most of them have one year left on their deal, get less wear and tear for the playoffs.
