You can be sure that if the game is at all close, Smart will be on the floor at the end if he hasn't fouled out or gone down with an injury.

That's a quote from three years ago. Lots have changed since then. I personally think Smart wants an elevated role esp with Hayward gone now. He wouldn't be too thrilled if a rookie or sophomore starts ahead of him. Or a vet on the decline.

I agree. Thats ancient and his career is on an entirely different trajectory right now. He just started for an ECF team, he’s an all nba defender and he’s still playing for another big pay day and a raise in 2 years. He wants to win and he’d go to the bench but he’s not gonna be happy at all about it

I think Smart might still be OK with sitting behind a player who's as good as or better than he is. I agree that it would be a foolish human-relations risk to sit him behind somebody who's far inferior. It would probably be a bad basketball decision as well.

I've been wondering about that. Especially with teams travelling from one town to another, and across the country.
They need to have some type of Regional Bubbles. Something. IDK if it's going to work, as is.

So, we have 3 players Out, to Start the Season.
At least for the Preseason, this looks like the Lineup.:

Pre-Season Lineup:
Starters: Smart - Brown - Tatum - Ojeleye - Theis
Rotation: Teague - Green - Nesmith - G.Williams - R.Williams
Reserve: Pritchard/Waters - Edwards - Jefferson - Fall

Green is a ballhandler, listed as a Combo Guard.
Nesmith has to be thrown in to at least the 2nd Unit.
Ojeleye and Green, I'm not sure about.

He's out in the cold.
Gonna have to sign with another team's G-League affiliate.

There have been some articles on what happens to Exhibit 10's, whose teams are not playing this season, or are at least forgoing the G-League Atlanta Bubble.

There's talk that this could be only the first half of the season, but it's still up in the air.
12 Games per team in the Bubble. With a Play-in Tournament.

Edit:
Danny Ainge will probably give him some type of compensation. Like he did for Max Struss, last year.

Could he possibly be taking Semi or Greens place. I mean he was just signed yesterday, and now they announce no G League team....what's up with that ? You know they knew that they were opting out of it before they signed him.

I doubt it. Amile Jefferson to replace one of our guys?
I don't think that the Celtics would have picked up Ojeleye's contract.

Green's contract though, isn't guaranteed until February.
But, I still doubt it.

They'll likely give him something.

Yes, and it’s really amazing that he continues to bulk up and get bigger as he continually gets younger.
