I like Josh a lot too. Think he'll be a better pro than college player. Think the environment he's drafted to will be a big factor with his playing style. He's a switchable starter sixth man in a Lou Will kinda role to me.

we talked about him in may

i think he started off a lot stronger than i expected. i think he also plays a lot bigger than his size.

Yeah he's definitely a physical guy. Old school like a Mitch Richmond in that way. Has a ton of finesse but also plenty of bully if needed in terms of getting his buckets. Still stand by his landing spot in the league being crucial to how well he maximizes what he does at the next level but I think he's making a really strong case to say he deserves some additional slack on whatever leash you might want to put on his archetype. The defensive chops he's showing is expanding his ceiling and potential role in the league as well I think.

I can't wait until conference play so this can carry more weight but I stand by Moses Moody being built for the pro game. My guy is just solid at doing his job. Day one legit 3&D wing in the league. Not a "could develop into if he works on" type. The real deal legit lockdown on one end and knockdown on the other from the day he puts on the ball cap. Guys like him and Scott Barnes put rings on superstars. Made Verde life real easy for Cade.

Serious bummer. Gonzaga's program has to get their heads on straight. They're playing fast and loose with the COVID precautions.

That Butler/Suggs matchup had good time written all over it.

I’m kind of glad Suggs gets a little more rest on his ankle.

Where you do you guys think Chet would go in this draft? Is he #1?

Definitely not 1st. Even early season I have at least 5 ahead of him with the potential for more. He'd probably land somewhere between 8 and lotto

Cade is spoonfeeding his teammates looks to no avail.

i think its a question of whether he'd be in the top 5 instead of #1 tbh

Grimes hitting 14-15 from the line is HUGE for him, he needs to realize how big/strong he is and with his dribble he can wreak damage driving the lane, if he's always aggro like this and making his FTs it's big for his development...that has always been most frustrating part of watching him

They def turned it on in the second half and capitalized on his passing. Early in the first half, when I posted this, however, they couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn.

He's a fantastic scorer but does play very head down. Not sure that archetype is all that successful at the moment in the NBA. It really depends on where he is picked in the draft as to what value he provides, but I can see a team reaching on him over better prospects come the draft a la Collin Sexton (FYI Christopher is a better prospect at the same stage than Sexton).

Anybody else having an eye on Kadary Richmond? Also Tre Mann had a good start to the season – let's see how that holds up.

edit: Also, Moses Moody could turn out to be a lottery prospect. His skill-set is super-valuable for teams looking to complement their star-players, he just needs to show that he can consistently bring his shooting and defense this year while making the right passes.

Also, anybody with any thought on Alan Griffin? Still 20 y/o and one of the best shooters in the class while also offering rebounding. If he can sustain or increase his previous production with extended minutes in Syracuse's offense this year, where does he rank as a prospect?

On his podcast Vecenie said he was wondering if Zaire Williams isn't 100% healthy. He mentioned wearing a knee brace and feeling like he wasn't seeing a lot of the movement he had seen from Williams in the past.

Thank you sir. If that's apart of his game now problems for the league will ensue.
