I have to say I wasnt a big fan of Cole in college, but the more and more I watch of him i see a lot of potential. Hopefully his inefficiency in college was a fluke due to his injury and he really blows up for us. I just hope him and Markelle can play next to each other.

Birch just told he is suprised how good Okeke is defensively. I dont know if thats the hint he is strong enough to guard the 4 or quick enough to guard the 3 (or both). He also said Chuma is a really good shooter. Thats consistent through all players that talked about him. I am excited.
Regarding Cole he said he is shocked he fall to us. I dont know whats the norm on other teams, but our veterans are really high on our rookies.

Well unless MCW goes trigger happy on 3s and Fultz imporves on his 3s as well.

With or without cole... Markelle would be striving to make his mark this season. He was coddled by design. Play the season .... stay healthy... get a taste... and "year 1" would be a success. Which i think it was. Time to take off the training wheels.

agreed man.... I think Cole has that fire.... that fire that this year will drive the 2nd unit and i believe bamba might be this biggest beneficiary. Might seem simple... but personal relationship does go a long way. Can't wait for this season... and i think people will be surprised by the possible buzz. we will see! Go Magic!

Okeke is going to be a better defender and 3pt shooter than Gordon but he hasn’t played a game. He may start early in the season but I would be surprised. AG always gets banged up early in the season so we need to have Chuma ready
