I pick Eric Paschall.

Sorry for the mess, my app showed him as unavailable, so I switched, bit couldn't remember who had picked him.

Turns out noone did, so I just switched back.

sunskerr wrote:I think it should go without saying that as part of a large but tight knit community that we are in a rare position with regards to being able to pull off a competitive, consistently managed, and in-depth dynasty basketball league. So with respect to that, imo we should be trying to make the team building process as in depth as possible. And part of doing that should mean giving serious consideration to an auction, contract, and/or salary cap system, or some combination of those.

I believe a more in-depth process of team building would compliment the roto 8-cat format far more than the yearly redraft leagues where the 8-cat roto format just means whomever's team is stacked the most wins, which causes gridlock in regards to trade negotiations because the winner of the trade is simply the person with the better total stats. Roto can also be a bit of a snore because you don't really have to pay very much attention to your team in season/post draft. Maybe a different system like a cap would help with increasing in-season participation beyond setting lineups.

As for trades in dynasty last year we had ones involving Jokic, Collins & Butler (iirc), and DeAaron Fox. So imo I think we're already doing pretty decently with regards to trades, especially because in dynasty there is a dynamic of long term youth growth vs current veteran production. I can see a contract/cap system potentially hamstringing owners in regards to trades, so that's one area we'd need to be careful with.

You're up I believe ... you have desertfox's pick according to the spreadsheet.

I'll take Mason Plumlee. Boring as can be but what else can you expect this late in the draft. No idea why they're so committed to him in Detroit either but he has literally no competition so if he regains his 2017 minutes and retains his improved FT% you can take it all the way to the bank.

Philly needs 3 point shooting (Which he provides) and now he is playing under his Father-in-Law! Thats a match made in heaven! While he is slated to come off the bench behind Green, i still envision him getting plenty of minutes to be Fantasy Relevant for my Needs!

I'm around, playing catch-up. Will pick soon.
SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Even though I have 8 bigs on my roster I was considering taking Jalen Smith. Had a whole thing lined up to talk about how Ayton is trash and the real Shaq&Kobe 2.0 was Booker and Smith. Oh well...

****. I really thought he was going to make it to me. I actually think he might be clevelands best young player. I almost took him last round but felt I needed a safer option in Kleber. My issue is with Kemba and some others I have who are banged up I need guys I know I can play early in the season and haven't looked at the young upside guys yet.

I grew up Wisconsin so root for the bucks so I'm not dealing him :).

Now objectively I actually think both AD and Harden are slightly better roto fantasy guys because Giannis FT% isn't great and he shoots so many it actually does hurt some.

Now if he forces his way out of Milwaukee in the next year or so hit me up.

I'm still gonna try!

I usually am first in the league in FT and 3PM by far, mostly because of Harden, but it's the FG% that has cost me the championship twice, so was willing to gamble on Giannis assuming the rest of my team could make up for it.
