Yeah he's definitely a physical guy. Old school like a Mitch Richmond in that way. Has a ton of finesse but also plenty of bully if needed in terms of getting his buckets. Still stand by his landing spot in the league being crucial to how well he maximizes what he does at the next level but I think he's making a really strong case to say he deserves some additional slack on whatever leash you might want to put on his archetype. The defensive chops he's showing is expanding his ceiling and potential role in the league as well I think.

He's a fantastic scorer but does play very head down. Not sure that archetype is all that successful at the moment in the NBA. It really depends on where he is picked in the draft as to what value he provides, but I can see a team reaching on him over better prospects come the draft a la Collin Sexton (FYI Christopher is a better prospect at the same stage than Sexton).

Yeah Josh is Uber confident in his ability to get buckets and can get serious tunnel vision if it's in his mind to score. I think he eventually settles into a microwave of the bench type in the league. But defensively with the dog he has in him combined with his size and switch ability hes gonna force the coaches hand to play him I think and decide if he can live with some of that tunnel or try and weed it out over time.

By the way, Marquette vs. Wisconsin was a fun match that I can only recommend to watch the highlights. And you should focus on Justin Lewis, Freshman from Marquette off the bench. He's a bit chubby and undersized as a 4 but he plays really smart basketball (communicates well on defense, rotates properly, moves without the ball) and has a genuinely great looking shooting stroke and touch around the rim (not only obvious at his buzzer beating tap-in).

I mean yeah unfortunately with corona there’s a lot of compensations that have to be made. But at least most of the high profile talents in college are playing. The G league atm appears to be even more disorganized with everything going on. And probably at the bottom of the totem poll.

We’d love to see Jalen Green play now and get some reps in obviously. But even if he doesn’t, I think it’s safe to assume he’s still a lock for a Top 3-5 pick.

Not sure how this is disorganized. They, like everyone else, are making adjustments on the fly. Colleges are flying by the seat of their pants too.

If there was a chapter on the fundamentals of how to play the 2 it would be called Moses Moody.

Day one legit 3&D wing in the league. Not a "could develop into if he works on" type. The real deal legit lockdown on one end and knockdown on the other from the day he puts on the ball cap. Guys like him and Scott Barnes put rings on superstars. Made Verde life real easy for Cade.

Certainly helps that he played his NBA role in HS with other NBA players.

Dude is going to be an uber 3rd guy. 17-20 ppg on good %'s with very good defense and few mistakes.

Watching the highlights, the first name that came to mind that he reminds me of is Bradley Beal. Looked him up, and to my surprise he played for Beal's AAU team which he's apparently pretty hands on with. Dont think thats a mistake now and I can see Moody modeling his game after him.

If Moses ever develops Beal's handle and playmaking he puts himself into the upper tiers in the league for the position. Right now as is he's coming in top 3 to 5 floor in the class with good spot up gravity attached to him. God forbid a team decides to use him ala Thompson, Redick, or Robinson.

Petrusev is continuing with the great play, he scored 32 points yesterday, leading Adriatic league in scoring 23 ppg , he should have been a great draft and stash pick if he stayed in 2020 NBA Draft.

It looks like we will finally see Keon Johnson tonight.

I’m giving Kadary Richmond (freshman PG, 6’5”, Syracuse) a look tonight. Don’t know much about his prep career but he’s been stat stuffing since he moved into the starting lineup two games ago (h/t NBA Draft Reddit).

Cade dropped a guy on a crossover but missed the jumper. So close.

Keon's defense was very impressive.

Offense a bit raw but he made a few nifty passes. Obviously the athleticism/upside is there.

Cade with a nice lefty push shot to end the half. Oklahoma State is a bad basketball team. I'm curious to see them play some good teams to see how high Cade can will them to victory.

Their schedule gets really rough in a couple weeks.
