Walter vs. Ilja Dragunov from NXT UK last week was considered fantastic. I hope Walter gets moved soon. He deserves to be on a show bigger than NXT UK.

Good god just watched the Walter-Dragunov match. That was so brutal.

Ilja, for an "underdog" looked really strong. That type of performance from a loser is miles better than most quality title matches we get from champions. That was intense.

Hold up, are those fans at ringside or are those developmental wrestlers? Either way, I think that is THE look while arenas can’t be filled — fans/talent in the ringside seats and the thunder dome teletron fans behind them.

They're development wrestlers.
I do think it's perfect for NXT, because of the smaller venue.

I feel they can do something really big with Thatcher.
Maybe a Moxley type of story? He absolutely looks like a badass and has the ability to just fight or have a tachnical wrestling match.

Also, Gargano doing the Triple H pose and then losing and prolonging the 'curse' was a brilliant thing.

Why can't main roster matches be like that when they have plenty of guys that are capable?

Just saw the last 20 minutes - switching from the NBA draft, but it was terrific. What a great match between Ripley and Shirai - with a believable finish and the 2 of them hugging it out after the match. Not only are both of them great in the ring; they have great chemistry. And then the Undisputed Era letting McAfee's group have it - predictable but fun.

Ok, Austin Theory pulling his mask off and screaming "it was me all along, Austin!" was phenomenal. What a callback.

Im glad I'm not the only one that understood that pun! More impressive coming from Theory considering he was like under 2 years old when that segment happened. Man I'm getting old!

Also, serious question. In the history of wargames, has the babyface team EVER had the entering advantage ?

Makes sense that it took someone the level of Walter to take the belt

So far, I haven't seen any charisma. Good athlete but so bland.
