Good assessment:

Kyrie probably knows he's headed to Houston for Harden, and doesn't like it one bit.

The one thing the Celtics need is a volume shooter who can't shoot. If all that takes is a protected first, sign me up, too.

I think that Giannis has agreed to resign with Milwaukee. At least, that's the impression i had by readin Greek reporters articles in the previous days. But there is no announcement. He is in the US almsot a week now.
He wasn't available for the media day either.
The deadline for signing is at 21st. The more the days pass, the more the specualtion will grow.
Bucks fans on their board are already having a meltdown lol
Is it possible for him to not care about the money now but preferes to wait until the summer and see what the Bucks FO will do?
Keep the pressure on them to make more moves at the deadline(maybe ship middleton?) for a final push this year?
If he doesn't sign it until the 21st, i can see this turning into the summer of 2010 all over again.
Good thing i'm not a Bucks fan now lol

I can't see why he would sign there until he is a free agent. What if one of Middleton/Holiday gets injured and the Bucks win like 45 games this year, get bounced in teh first round? What is their roster going to look like in two years? After trading for Holiday, they basically cornered themselves into retaining Holiday at some absurd contract. Giannis, Middleton, Holiday will likely be making 110 million in 2021-22 if Bucks keep Giannis and Jrue (Jrue opts out and re-signs a deal similar to Hayward just got). Gonna be a thin, thin team after those guys get paid and they don't have many future picks to bolster the roster with cheap players.

The answer is so simple. Giannis signs the Max, but has an opt out after 2 years in case the ship starts sinking..
